Food was ok. As mentioned by others the toilets are not very good-lock was broken on door. steak was overcooked. Server was ok and we didnt wait too long. although it does make u feel uncomfortable when being pushed for tips. Overall wasnt too bad, but could have been better. Also i was surprised to see how much salt is... More

We had a short 10-hour stay in New York on the 24th of December and after visiting The Rockefeller Center, we decided to find something to eat. Unfortunately, TGI was the first thing we stumbled upon and having had previous good experience with TGI in both Copenhagen and Prague, we thought it would be okay. However, I really regret that... Don't be fooled by the location, the restaurant upstairs is a far contrast from the lovely looking bar downstairs. Too many tables upstairs all packed in too close together. Staff pushy for tips - Brits are not used to this so it is very off putting. food was pretty average - i've eaten better at home in a TGI in... More

Having recently eaten the great burgers at Shake Shack, the burgers at TGI seem pretty average. There was something off about the dressing and the buns. Not sure what though...

Horrible place. Dirty. Staff are rude and never smile. Food is over priced and cold. Avoid this place and spend your money else where.

This restaurant felt like a cheap TGI Friday's knockoff. Too dirty and smelled like a restroom. We left our table shortly after being seated. Certainly will not return or recommend.

Kids wanted to go, because it was familiar and we were tired and hungry. Sat at a table for 20 minutes and a server never came at all. It wasn't crazy busy. Dingy and dated. We ended up leaving to find somewhere better.

In great location but otherwise awful in every sense. Decor is outdated and tatty, everywhere is dirty, including restrooms. Food was cold as was replacement. No adjustment made on bill due to dreadful experience. Best advice do not go there!

We'd just arrive in NYC having travelled from the Uk - our first experience of this city. Having an extra 5 hours in our day and hungry we looked for the first eating place we could find and unfortunately this was it. For its smart location it's a real shock once inside. It was very noisy with lots of families... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
