Nice bar in the Gramercy Park area of New York. It is a nice upscale atmosphere and the people are friendly.

Swanky and sleek, moderately sized bar with a high class clientele and vibe. DJ spins all night - mostly dance and sing-a-long songs from the 70's and 80's. It's hard to get in so go early if you really want to be there. And don't use flash on your camera phone, or you'll get flagged by the staff. Note that... More

A great hotel bar, came here on a Tuesday and was pleasantly surprised with some amazing live jazz, the service was excellent and the selection of drinks were superb!

This place is to be avoided at all costs. My fiancé and I met up with another couple and a 5th friend tonight. We had a table that had five seats, but this was apparently inappropriate as they informed our party that we needed to spend $1,500 in order for the final member to join the table upon arrival. The... More

Spent a great eve with friends at a fave local spot. Sundays are usually quiet, but some patrons get very "holiday spirited"...Jonas handled the situation politely and professionally...never missing a beat. I will be back

Gramercy Park Hotel is an intriguing place in a wonderful neighborhood, and the lobby (along with its Rose Bar and Jade Bar) are a big part of the hotel's moody glamour. The bars are very special, but there is one problem: their special-ness draws big crowds. This is most annoying for hotel guests. We were recent guests at the hotel,... More

Recently visited for a drink with a number of old buddies, several of whom are intellectually challenged. Four of us were awkwardly seated on a sofa, and looked foolish until the remainder of our party entered. They actually did not have a full bottle of bourbon that was ordered, and gave us 2 different types. One guy in our party... More

Two days prior to arrival I contact the concierge to request a table at the Rose Bar for Thursday night at 11:30. From the reviews I knew that the bar has a reputation in a negative way, about the door staff! When I checked in the hotel I confirmed our table with the concierge since the bar was not open...
