Great pub with a great local feel to it. Bar staff were very friendly and the choice of beers tremendous. I ordered a plate of sausage rolls and even they were about the finest bar snacks I've had. I've since heard that The Puck is to close down for office space... Such a shame.

The bar staff were perhaps a bit terse, but otherwise we were delighted to discover this place, entering without plan on a blustery and bitterly cold NY eve. The beer was excellent, the ambience is low-lit and warm. The accoutrements about the place provide real character. It was absolutely packed; clearly very popular with the locals. Excellent place for a... More

Stopped here to grab a light bite and was not disappointed. Magner's on tap, delicious soup, yummy sausage rolls AND great ambiance.

The dark woods and exposed brick are enough to pull you in--however the food and beer will be sure to win you over! If you are interested in craft beer's, Puck Fair has a decent menu to choose from. While there wasn't a classic Shepard's Pie, they did offer great dishes such as a full Irish Bangers and Mash, Irish... More

Friends and I were visiting NYC and we asked for a recommendation on a good pub to visit. Puck Fair was suggested and we were not disappointed. The outside of the restaurant was very plain but once you step inside the decor is very welcoming and cozy. We had called ahead for a reservation and even though we were a... More

Loved the pate and Brie. The chicken and jack wrap was wonderful. Good list of draft beers. I liked the Bronx rye ale. We had late lunch and place not crowded.

Been here a couple of times for a casual bite to eat and cider when visiting NYC. Staff are great, food is cheap but tasty and the atmosphere is fun. The vegetarian nachos were great

Stopped in thinking of Shepherd's Pie. Ended up no Shepard's, but have Cottage Pie. It was tasty. Nice service and nice music.

Ironically enough, after 15 years living in NY and working just around the corner, I never had a meal at this place until last week when visiting as a tourist. And was I surprised!!! From the outside it is sort of flat, not very inviting really. The decor is sort of dark, more like a bikers bar really. But with... More

Came here on a Thursday night at about midnight... Was quite full but I sat at the bar and was given my drink promptly by a friendly talkative bar man. Ordered the puck burger which was great... Overall a great spot and one of the few pubs to serve food this late at night on a weekday

Thank Joe M

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
