The noodles are definintely great texturally, but the food was too heavy for my taste. We did the pan fried and the beef broth noodles. In the future, if I return, I would just do the beef noodles. The beef broth is very flavorful. So would return just for that.

Not exactly a shining zenith of decor but the tasty noodles live up to their name. Open late night, nice variety, great prices and a fun spot to eat in Chinatown. Very busy spot with almost no seating which made navigation impossible without asking other patrons to stand before one could get out.

It's off the Bowery just past the Post Office. It's a hole in the wall. The hand rolled Noodles are fresh and exceptional.

Let's establish that my reviews center on the food. I will not deduct pints for surly service or tattered decor. If you come here it is to taste fabulous hand pulled noodles that are a textural delight. That also applies to the dumplings and fried noodles. It is crowded, sketchy, busy and small, and you won't find a better bowl... More

Start your noodle experience with steam pork dumplings then proceed to be amazed by the man in the back room making the noodles by hand. Hence hand pulled noodles. With 28 variations of soup you are bound to please your palate. Worth a trip to Chinatown.

I am a native NYer and have been looking for a new noodle soup place since mine went out of business (I still have no idea why). After reading some reviews, seeing TripAdvisor's certificate of excellence and Zagat 2016, I decided to check it out, and I regret it. Prices were about $1-2 more per dish than the places I... More

After reading all the reviews on TA, I decided to check out Tasty Hand Pulled Noodle. I ordered the wide noodles to go. Service was fast and prices were excellent. Noodles were definitely tasty and the serving size was HUGE! You can share with a friend and still have leftovers! Highly recommend to eat there or take it to go.

Our beef soup noodles were good but the meat pieces were tasteless and not fresh; our wontons were just ok, small dining room is not conducive to enjoy food with the bathroom in the middle of the room. Not worth the time it took us to find the place.

Their noodles are truly hand pulled and they make several different sizes/thicknesses. What a special treat! I had a chicken soup which was deliciously spiced with good looking pieces of lean chicken and some veggies. Hubbie had his noodles pan fried and they were amazing. Just the right texture and very flavorful. What freaked me out a little was the... More

We expected better from this noodle restaurant. The fried noodles were ok, but the house special mix was poor. The service was desultory and the state of repair and open restroom door in a small space was off putting. Our advice, sadly, is: try somewhere else in Chinatown.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
