My husband and I dined here on a Sunday evening. The atmosphere and character of this place are quaint and cozy. There are an amount of TVs for viewing sports. Average bar food. Decent beer selection. Not touristy so it was a great find for us and time seemed to slow down after a busy weekend in the city.

Bar with cozy, casual, lodge-like feel, with friendly service and good prices. Decent food menu also. LOTS of screens for the games. Better than it looks from the outside. So give it a try.

Well, if you like a nice, rustic, British-style pub, then you will enjoy this place. Nice selection of beers and very good and varied menu. I had the Shepherd's Pie that they make with ground sirloin, a stout gravy, and a bruleedmashed potatoes, and it was very good and matched well with the stout style beer i had chosen. The... More

Me and my brother were taking in the sights of midtown and stumbled across the Stags head.... We were immediately impressed with the place. Well done out, great selection of brews, good pub grub, good music, EPL on TV & friendly bar staff. A great find!

My boyfriend and I went to the stags head to kill a few hours before our flight home. The beer was great and cheap. Marie the bar tender was amazing! So friendly and welcoming! We thoroughly enjoyed our few hours here! Thanks!

Loads of beer choice. Great atmosphere. The drinks are top quality; no half measures. Not sure how much choice there is for none beer drinkers.

Have good craft beers on specials for long happy hour that runs 11-7 or so. The food is absolutely delicious. I had the mushroom soup and it was gourmet and the best I ever had. Thick and truffle tasting.Regular dishes are fine, good lunch specials for $10 plus half a pint.very nice service .

The chicken wings were good for an appetizer, also the french dip sandwich was very good. The food was excellent but it was difficult to have a conversation - tables awkwardly close, dark, very "busy" with people walking through to Cornerstone. Still, I would definitely return and highly recommend for good, reasonable food.

Excellent beer menu with good craft beer selections that range out of the mainstream. Good pub menu with several non-fried and vegetarian choices. Bartender Dan is a great host; knowledgeable and fun.

The bar snacks was fine and the beer (draught and bottle) selection is good. Fine place for an evening.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
