We have eaten at Petrarca many times with our New York family. We are from Denver so authentic Italian food is few and far. I have never had a bad entree here. Last nights butternut squash ravioli did not disappoint. Also had some carbonara which was very good as was the red wine risotto. A treat for is when we... More

Average food in a ok location...the waiter very busy to chat with the barista and the busboy, tables not clean and overpriced...you can find much better in NYC..

We came here for a meal as every time we passed by it had a regular clientele. I opted for a vegetarian option of the truffle risotto. Much to the horror of the staff I did add pepper and cheese - but there is a difference when you say hold the meat stock - sorry! That said it was a... More

Checked into my hotel late and was starving so I walked around Tribeca looking for a place that looked inviting for a solo diner like me. This place had plenty of seating, but I eyed the nice bar that looked more comfortable for me to sit on my own. The staff was nice and inviting, the lighting low, but not... More

A very good choice when staying at the Roxy. Great atmosphere. Very quick friendly and efficient service. Food excellent. Best lasagna ever! Calamari also cooked to perfection. Yes the prices are still eye watering, but are reasonable for this neck of the woods!

Petrarca delivered on all fronts for me as it has great food and wine and nice atmosphere at reasonable (by the neighbourhood standards) prices and the service was very good- not overly fussy, just right. We wanted a nice low key dinner as we are staying in a hotel nearby and both of us ordered the pasta only, so that's... More

Staying at the Roxy hotel it was an easy decision to cross the street to Petrarca Cucina. And it turned to be a very wise decision. We had the Parmesan eggplant that wad delicious, fabulous home made pasta and a great bottle of Barolo wine. The atmosphere was joyful since there was a large group having good time sitting next... Neighbourhood Profile
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
