...and people know it! This little shop is busy non-stop! Some of the best cupcakes I've ever had! Try the mini sizes and get several flavors. They also have mini pies- the key lime. WOW

It's small and not what I expected bc I heard so much about this bakery but they did not disappoint! It's worth it and then some.

After queuing for some 15-20 min. we had a red velvet cupcake and a NY cheesecake. Given the reviews an the queue we were expecting heavenly sensations and mouthwatering delicacies. We found a standard sponge cake with a too cheesy iceing and a slice of cheesecake unbearably sweet. We couldn't finish it. Definitely not to our taste!

I am completely in love with this bakery. I make special trips from a long way away to get treats here now and then. My two faves are Brooklyn Blackout cake/cupcake or the Peanut Butter/Chocolate Cupcake.

The coffee is the best in NYC from my perspective and the cupcakes are to die for. We had vanilla iced yellow cupcakes and the seasonal gingerbaby cupcake. Delicious, so fresh and flavourful, and they melt in your mouth. We love the hens and no trip to NYC is complete without a stop to indulge in a treat in this... More

Fun place to stop after a day on the town. Fewer cupcakes at the end of the day but even the yellow cake/chocolate icing was great.

I went for tea and cheesecake with my wife one evening in December and it was wonderful. We had cherry and pumpkin cheesecake slices. The portions were large and the taste was perfect. Very rich and creamy and definitely worth the slightly higher price.

This is one of those bakeries you will return to time and time again. Certain items are just among the best in the city. Anything chocolate black out and the peanut butter and chocolate peanut butter cupcakes. The plain cheese cake is wonderful as well.

Great southern country style desserts. A great treat in a city that often is overrun with european style dessert shops. It's hard to find this style. I would go more often if it wasn't so sinfully good. I would be 1000 pounds!

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
