Good steamed lobster! You eat it standing directly on a paper plate, served with lemon and butter. Quality of the food is excellent, but it's very casual. Lots of other things to choose from too but lobster's the thing here!
My daughter and I went were in awe! The different types of fish were incredible and I truly wish I had been more hungry walking in. We sampled the Lobster Bisque and the Clam Chowder and they were both great! I'm kicking myself for not trying the Lobster Roll. It looked delish!
Good lunch experience sitting at the bar and watching the the Japanese sushi chefs cutting down a whole fresh Tuna into bite size pieces. The sashimi and nigri excellent but maybe a little more rice with the nigri would be better. Overall a good lunchtime experience in this very busy market.
The place was highly recommended, but the quality of the oysters and lobster is just ok and overpriced, comparing to other places in N.Y. The negative point was the staff, little helpful in explaining the plates to foreign like me. Some of the orders came wrong. I myself recommend the Chealse Market for tasting sea food.
Decided to eat here as we were impressed with the amount of seafood on display. We didn't go for the lobster, even though it looked good. We had Clam Chowder and a Fried Fish Sandwich with Harrisa Paste and a beer to wash it all down. Everything was really tasty and freshly cooked. It is quiet a popluar place and... More
The place is more a fish shop where you can eat than a true restaurant, but the quality of the food served is wonderful. We fell in love with their Lobster Rolls ! Absolute recommendation in a very attractive environment to shop for Food !
It's worth a visit here just to view the abundance of fresh seafood displayed to a mouth- watering delight. The surroundings are energetic, bright, and clean without a trace of fish odor. With so many choices and little time I played it safe and ordered a dozen Pleasant Bay oysters, though you can mix and match from a wide variety... More
This place has everything seafood and so fresh! OK they didn't have spider crab, but they were harvesting uni from fresh sea urchins at a work station! The oysters were extremely fresh, especially the local Long Island varieties. This place is like a seafood nirvana, where you're surrounded by fabulous seafood. Fresh market and prepared food stations, it's the best!
