Everything is in the title really. This is some of the best coffee in NYC, with a really cool place to enjoy it in. I will pick my next hotel stay in New York to be not too far away from Stumptown.

Coffee was weak and tepid, chai latte was sickeningly sweet and service was muddled, inefficient and unwelcoming. One make barista in particular was slow, disinterested and rude. The quality you get for the price you pay, is bordering on offensive. I would not return and would not recommend it for other.

Decent cofee, very good brownie but overpriced as almost everything in NYC. Was staying at the ace hotel so was just downstairs

I am fussy about my espressos. I love Stumptown and in my books it rates in the Top 10 anywhere in the world.

Reliable stumptown quality at reasonable prices for a nice cup of coffee. I have a mild addiction to their cold brew during the summer and lattes during the winter months. Despite the consistent line, small space and sometimes slow service, it's worth a visit.

Wonderful! Tried their Guatemalan roast and it was divine. The atmosphere is fun and you can either stand at the window with your drink and people-watch or lounge in the Ace Hotel lobby and relax. Definitely picked up a bag of the Guatemalan roast to make at home. This cafe is worth a trip out of your way!

We went for a quick breakfast to Stumptown and it was great! The nitro cold brew coffee was incredible and the pastries were absolutely delicious too. We all shared the Chive and feta muffin, the peanut butter and jelly doughnut and some delicious pasty that cleverly resembled a pop tart, they were very good! I definitely will go back on... More

There's a reason there's a queue at this place; the coffee is very good and a mile from the typical filtered coffee in the US. Good choice of types of coffee from espresso to cold brew, with milk alternatives including almond and soy milk.
