My husband and I had read the reviews on trip advisor for E&E Grill House and decided to give them a try before a show. We were not disappointed. It is a friendly place with an attentive and efficient waitstaff. We choose to go with their Prix Fixe Dinner ($39.75) which includes a choice from 3 first courses, 5 second... More

In Times Square, you're obviously going to find a lot of overpriced tourist traps. Luckily, this little gem is tucked away next to the Pearl Hotel. My filet was cooked to perfection, and the service was exceptional. It's a great dining choice... especially if you're looking to temporarily avoid the hustle and bustle of Times Square.

Let's start with the service. It could not been perfect and appropriate. It was pretentious or white glove, it was just measured and exactly right. We were four. We all ordered different things. Everything was delicious. The wine selection was great too. The kitchen was very helpful in making an accommodation.

My husband and I had dinner at the E&E grill house because it was close to the Gershwin Theatre and there was a handy coupon on our tickets. It was the most serendipitous coupon and made for a truly magical evening (and that was BEFORE Wicked). I'll save you the trouble of reading the whole story if you're into TL;DR:... More

Their food was terrific. Only criticism is they were out of several items at the start of Sunday's dinner seating (at 5:00 pm) - including salmon and their apple cobbler dessert. The steak I had was tender and cooked perfectly and the blackfish my wife had was excellent also.

I was hung over and hungry. But the pork chop and fries were awesome. Not cheap, but this is NY. But great food and friendly service. Hungry, abandoned in NY? This will do just fine :)

Amazingly nice wait staff and hostess. The seared tuna appetizer was delicious. The crab cake was OK. The rack of lamb was amazing no mint jelly though. The filet was pretty dry. We didn't stick around for desert. The bartender was good. Typical NYC prices unfortunately. Location is good for the theatre district and parking.

We visited here for my fathers Birthday on our last night in New York. We all had starters as well as a main, and even squeezed a dessert in! The atmosphere was really nice and had mood lighting. It was not very busy when we entered so we were unsure, however we were quickly comforted with the service of the... More

As typical, my friends Ana I work in Times Square and needed to take advantage of restaurant week. This is a new place and we actually found out it belong to a new hotel. New place with red accents. It felt more like a nice comfortable family type of place instead of a nice trendy place. Maybe because it was... More

With all of the options in the neighborhood, thank you for visiting E&E Grill House during Restaurant Week! I'm sorry you were disappointed with the presentation of our Avocado Toast, but I'm glad you ultimately enjoyed it. We will take your input into consideration. I dine at E&E for my birthday, the food...great and very tasty, the wine selection great, the ambience lovely and cosy, the service prevented me from giving it a five, even though it was good paced was not attentive, finished plates stay too long on table, servers were more interested in laying tables for next day as I think it... Description
E&E Grill House is a neighborhood restaurant surrounded by the marquees of Broadway theaters in historic Times Square. We treat all our guests like celebrities. Our calling card? We are a grill house-the fun, more dynamic cousin of the steakhouse. We serve excellent food at fair prices with an emphasis on grilled items and the freshest ingredients. Our menu has tasty dishes that delight vegetarians and fish lovers, - but it's our steaks and meat selections that satisfy a carnivore's cravings!

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
