Located on Eighth Avenue between W.55&56 Streets, Luigi's offers a variety of pizza styles and topping worth the visit. Always busy (locals know a good thing when they have found it), the pizzza as well as main courses of Italian traditional entrees are always hot, fresh, and delicious. The decor is the usual, simple, unadorned pizza shop fair, but come... More

In a town with so much to offer, its a waste to spend a meal at luigis. The food is less than mediocre; fat tasteless and unappealing. Don't waste your time here!

Popped into this little place for a couple of slices of pizza for lunch and we were not disappointed. The staff were helpful and fun, and the pizza was great. My wife and I grabbed a few slices of their pepperoni sausage pizza. The slices were generous with a very thin crust and just the right amount of sauce. Seating... More

Thanks fellow Trip Advisors for the great recommendation! This was our first meal in NYC and it was great! Friendly service, generous slices and just excellent pizza. Yum!

We're not from New York and don't intuitively know how pizza places work there, but the guys at Luigi's were very nice and helpful. My husband ordered pasta, and it came out very quickly. He loved it and got more to eat than he needed. I love a good Caprese Pizza, and they have one here. Overall, we were able... More

Everything I have ever eaten from here has been good. My favorite dish is the breaded chicken salad with the house dressing. The food is served quickly, the staff is friendly and if you're ordering take-out, you're in and out quickly.

Let me start out by saying if you are on a controlled diet or trying to loose weight then this is not the place for you! On the other hand if you are after good quality pizza then check Luigi's out! Service was quick and pizza freshly baked but glad we didn't make the mistake of ordering a whole pizza... More

Awesome pizza, Friendly service. This was an all around awesome visit. Thank you! We have slices of their white pizza, NY pizza and their "deep" dish. It was overall awesome.

Luigi's has been around for a good many years. The reason? They serve a very limited menu, but it's all good. The specialty is definitely Grilled Chicken, (or breaded and fried), on a Ceasar Salad.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
