Manhattan Cafe is just two blocks off Times Square on a fairly quiet street. The variety of food will suit any appetite. It is self-serve with clean tables handy. Three of us ate a very satisfying lunch for a total of $30.00.

Stayed at CASSA hotel last week, we used the cafe for our breakfast several times during our stay. Worth the money, fresh excellent and a lot of varieties. The only negative was the attitude of one of the cashier staff, very rude, no smile, and very aggressive, also, which is very unusual with Asian people, For sure the owner knows... More

The first day in NY, we were so tired, hungry and frustrated (of traffic) that we walked around looking for some pizza...but thankfully came across this cafe. At first there were so many options to choose from, that you hesitate to try new things and "stuck to what you know"...so I opted for the chicken and rice, added some veggies... More

You can always find something to satisfy your palette at this place. Wide array of foods on the food bar at lunch. Also salads and other specialty foods made at stations along the outer walls. Pizzas too! I tend to hit this place up when I'm stuck and not sure of what I want to eat. Food is decent quality.

We discovered Cafe Manhattan after many trips to NYC and are thrilled that we did. We have had way too many overpriced breakfasts and this place offers a variety of breakfast (and other meals) items. Whether a bagel with lox cream cheese (or lox) or eggs or whatever, the price is consistent with what one would pay in Minneapolis or... More

This place is a little nugget of a find. Very unassuming on the outside but awesome food and more on the inside. Plenty of seating too. You can get breakfast, lunch or dinner type food anytime of the day. We stopped in for breakfast and loved it. They have very low priced specials with generous portions. Example breakfast roll with... More

This was the perfect choice for us while walking around Midtown. So many options! From deli choices to a full buffet where you can fill your to go box and pay based on weight. Everything we tried was delicious. This is a perfect spot for a quick bite!

Huge variety of food. They have sushi, salads, sandwiches, brick oven pizza and a buffet area. Got the Italian Hero sandwich and was great!

This place has the most delicious hot and cold food to eat in or take away. The salads are to die for (nothing remotely as good in the UK that I've ever found). Fill a plastic container yourself and they charge by weight. Pizza bar and delicious hot food bars too. We had two tubs of salad and two drinks... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
