Great Casual Evening Atmosphere for Wine and Light Eats. Last night we arrived too early to visit a friend in the West Village. We went in O Cafe for a coffee BUT ended up having wine and pate. Wonderful wait staff, great free wifi, and nice people hanging out. We have been here before for morning coffee and light breakie.... More

A hotel concierge recommended O Cafe for the coffee and he didn't steer me wrong. This was one of the best cups of coffee I had anywhere. I came back several times during my stay in the neighborhood. I also sampled the baked goods and had a terrific banana-brazil nut muffin, AND I had a great egg dish with avocado... More

Stopped by here whilst on a visit to the New School (5 mins walk away). Very trendy in an organic sort of way - excellent coffee served in handless mugs - good quality pastries etc. Would stop by again - only downsides were that the tables and chairs were small and cramped and the bathroom could do with an overhaul.

On our last trip to NY we stayed on West Village and looking some place to take a breakfast we found O Cafe. It's a small place so cute and the people is so Cool. The food was delicious with some brasilian specialities. Just great!

I came here and had a skim latte which I liked very much, but the prices (and the prices overall) are pretty high here. I reckon you can't expect much differently from the neighbourhood but I still wasn't very impressed on that front. Overall, a nice place to grab a coffee though.

I really like this place and I've been a few times. But I think 4.50 for a small chai latte is a bit pricey for the size. 4.50 just doesn't feel worth it, even though it is really delicious.

We stopped here at the request of our 16 yr old son who loves cafe's. The service was good and tables clean. We had cappuccinos and a mocha cap as well with blueberry vanilla much. Cafe focus seemed to be on healthy ingredients and we loved the rich flavor as well as design of our cappuccinos.

Just around the corner from where i'm staying (Jade Hotel), Brazilian cheese bread, pastries, (non industrial) muffin and lovely coffee. Very pleasant serendipitous find!

Happened upon this little restaurant and found a delightful place. I love that everything is served in recyclable containers. The service was good, prices reasonable, and the coffee and tea were quite good!

This is a wonderful corner coffee shop. Some staff are not overly friendly but most are great. We went several times during our NYC visit as the coffee is great and it was handy.

Neighbourhood Profile
Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess. Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighbourhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.
