The calamari ok Nothing is good The waitress I asked what's good here Reply everything the truth is nothing Do not get fooled as I did by these... More

We were served without a reservation. The food was really good and the service was great to match. I would go there again in a heart beat

When in NY you expect even diner food to be great. Most especially you expect Italian food to be awesome. Tony's is a let down. We were warned by a native NY'er but we decided it couldn't be bad...it was. Would never return. The food is such a let down. Got take-out so I cannot speak to service. The take-out... More

The waiting staff were lovely and very helpful as it is our first time in New York. We did not book but were seated after only 10 minutes despite the restaurant being very busy. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

Our party of four was seated promptly and the service was eager to please throughout. Drinks were a pitcher of excellent red sangria. We enjoyed salad, fried zucchini and fried calamari to start. We then polished off sphaghetti and meatballs and veal Milanese. Desserts were the very berry and an ice cream brownie sundae. Prices definitely reasonable. Would strongly recommend!

Nice atmosphere and great quality of the food. You need at least 4 people so you can share the food otherwise entrees seem very expensive and you'll have too much food.

Found it by again by accident and were glad that we did. Huge Italian restaurant, absolutely hopping, and with a great atmosphere on that account. Entrees seem expensive until you realise that they are meant to be shared tapas style so that 3 to 5 people are plenty. All very informal, pleasant and tasty. Reasonable by NY standards.

We visited this place with a business group of 14. It is well located close to Time Square. This restaurant serves you huge plates to share like a "famiglia" dinner. The food is wonderful and they make great cocktails too. And what to say about desserts... Wow! Everybody loved their visit at Tony's. Great place with a superb ambiance to... More

My wife and i had dinner at Tony's tonight and really enjoyed it. We have been there before and always enjoy the atmosphere and the quality of the food. The portions are large, so we can share, and the sauces are delicious. Service from our waitress, Irina, was excellent.

This restaurant serves family style and a full portion serves 2-3 people. For 3 of us we ordered 2-half dishes for our main course and even took a doggie bag. Recommend the fried zucchini appetizer Friendly staff that work well together.

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
