Lovely Fusion between various latin dishes like the ceviche, popusas and the always good rice and beans. Enjoy your drink at the light of a delicious warm chimney while eating your appetizers from a vast variety. The waitress was amazing, helpful and answer all our...More

I'm a vegetarian that doesn't do dairy or wheat and right off the bat there was a perfect menu item for me :) My friend had the carne asada bowl and enjoyed it a lot. We shared the trio of dips with the plantain chips....More

Several friends arrive and were seated at a table pushed in the corner - very hard to get in and out and quite uncomfortable.. Once settled, we were greeted by a very nice, pleasant server. Drink orders were taken. After 10 minutes, the server came...More

Ate here on our first evening in New York, still feeling a bit out of sorts with the jet lag. Nonetheless, it was so tasty and refreshing, with lots of wonderful fresh flavours, that we managed to stuff our faces! Wonderful and inventive tapas with...More

Love this small, charming restaurant. The ambiance is cozy and friendly, and the food is really delicious. A hidden gem in the lower east side. Go for a sangria and some empanadas and whatever specials chef/owner Melissa has whipped up.

Excellent presentation and a fine staff of servers. Owner seemed a little standoffish, but food was well prepared and tasty. Bar was somewhat lacking and we found the sangria was a little odd. Overall not bad - and priced well.

Atmosphere, food, service, wine, & chef! I have to admit I was a little hesitant to try Nicaraguan food, but I am so glad I tried everything that was placed in front of me! I'm not a big pork eater; however, you can't go wrong...More

Good well presented food at what we considered a reasonable price. Service was a little swift as we would have liked to take our time to enjoy the offerings but find this quite common practice here. Enjoyable!

Lower East Side
Straddling the bridge between New York’s thriving

The blocks of tenements that represented the promise
and blight of the Lower East Side immigrant experience
now command top dollar for new residents. Right next
