I am an investment adviser and entertain clients at restaurants often, so I know a lot about food and service. The online menu states paella prices are per serving, not per person. While the menu does state minimum of 2 orders it does not state...More

I always go for the dátiles and arroz negro. Both are absolutely delicious. I love that burnt rice at the bottom of the pan. And the sangria is wonderful, goes down VERY easy.

We came across this establishment in 2015 when visiting NY so thought we would return for lunch and it didn't disappoint. We chose a seafood paella that was dense and unctuous with plenty of seafood and the rice was perfectly al dente. This was washed...More

We like Soccarat more for its tapas and go a few times every year. The tapas are very good but of course small by definition. We got to identify our favorites on the list. The wine list is also quite good. However, the tab runs...More

I ordered the Arroz Negro. I think all it was was white rice with squid ink mixed in. Then a couple of pieces of seafood on top. Definitely not worth the price. It looked embarrassing. I have had paella at many places and this was...More

“Socarrat” is that delectable, scrumptious crust that forms at the bottom of the paella pan when the liquid is rendered and the rice has reached its peak of succulence. In other words, “socarrat” is the result of paella cooked to perfection. To us, we have come to think of “Socarrat” as a standard of perfection to aim for in everything we do. We look forward to sharing the best flavors of Spain with you. SALUD!
