We had a late night snack in the Oxford Cafe and it was a lovely surprise, doesn't look much on the outside but the pizza was fresh, tasty and very quick friendly, helpful service. To be honest, we felt that it was the best pizza we had ever tasted, all for $44. As a take-out we had the carrot cake... More

We were staying in a hotel located nearby that had no coffee making facilities in room - the Oxford cafe saved us!! Open early to serve us steaming hot tea and coffee along with gorgeous Danish pastries and muffins to start our day Staff very friendly too - which always helps

Stopped here for lunch on my way out of town. Too bad I didn't discover it sooner! Good fresh food at reasonable prices . Breakfast, sandwiches, hot entrees. Small seating area.

First time, Eat lunch and breakfast. The pizza is good ,very tasty and the slices are large. Had breakfast the next day. The egg, bacon and cheese on a roll is great. You order at the counter and pay at the register. I would come back again.

Good variety for breakfast or lunch- order at the counter, and take your food to a table or just sit down for waitress service- Food is good quality - prices are inexpensive for the area- good place to grab breakfast or a decent, inexpensive, fast lunch.

There are hundreds of these small lunch cafes in Manhattan. Oxford stands out because 1) the staff is exceptionally courteous, 2) the place is well maintained and 3) the food was better than average. We had a chicken parm panini and a roast turkey sandwich with cranberry and arugula. Both were excellent. Will definitely return.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
