The waitress was very nice and we liked the atmosphere of the bar. This bar appeared in some famous series and movies such as The Sopranos, Donnie Brasco and Law & Order. Plus it's been visited by famous celebrities, for example, Johnny Deep. You can see their pictures on the walls and windows. During our visit we managed to meet... More

Very accomodating staff. There were six of us and we had to wait a maximun of 5 minutes for table. All of our food was so good. Two had spagetti and meatballs, it was really great. two had fettucinni alfredo and the loved it. Two little ones had chicken fingers and they ate them all up. Cant wait to go... More

Popped in for a drink one evening whilst waiting for our table in the next-door restaurant to be ready and was immediately taken by the interior. Now either a top designer was paid a lot of money to achieve the look of an interior that hasn't changed for 50 years or it hasn't changed for 50 years, whichever it is... More

Noticed it whilst walking through little italy around lunch time and decided to go back at dinner time, very glad we did as the prices weren't as high as other places but still delivered an exceptionally good pizza; just what we needed after a long day of walking around NYC

It had such a great atmosphere and food that was all ruined by our terrible waiter! He barely checked on us, the 'suggested tip' was taken off my card without giving me a chance to give what tip I wanted. Which in turn was a 20% tip that he definitely did not deserve. Then he rushed us out of the... More

Chicken parm was good, eggplant was so so and burger was over cooked. It was freezing out and inside the restaurant was maybe 55 degrees! Which made us want to just get out of there. Service was good. Prices average. Though check out all the restaurants on that same block. It's the slow season and I wish we went to... More

This little bar restaurant is so traditional and authentic Italian. The whole vibe and decor are perfect.we had some beers and didn't want a big meal so we ordered four sides to snack on and they were freshly cooked and delicious especially the garlic knots. We were there at about 1pm but would love to go back for an evening meal... More

My wife and I went to Little Italy for the atmosphere ... which we did get; but in addition we had the pleasure of sitting at the bar, sharing a perfect pizza along with several Peroni beers as the Packers defeated the Giants in the Wild Card game. The Giant fans were cordial though disappointed and all gave us hearty... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighbourhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
