Stopped over for lunch at this pub. After spending hours at the B&H across the street, I decided to step in for a few beers and a bite. Full marks for the Guinness. Food wise I have had better. A bit to loud - not because of the people but the TV.

Met friends and sat outside in the courtyard. We ordered a lite lunch from an extensive menu. Our food was good but our Killians Irish Red beer (draft) was flat which they readily replaced. I know it can happen but it raised a few eyebrows . . . in an Irish Pub?

Went to this pub on recommendation from friends. Food was as good as they said but service seemed to be having an off day. It was very busy and server got orders wrong and didn't seem too keen on fixing it - I got sense she was hoping we'd keep wrong food. As rush settled down, service got way better.... More

We often stop here for a drink on Monday evenings, when Patrick is the bartender. What a great guy! The food always looks and smells delicious, although we haven't stayed long enough to eat yet. It is near Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. A good place to stop.

I had an excellent dinner here with my daughter a few nights ago. I usually avoid bar food, but this is more of a restaurant than a bar, in my opinion. Atmosphere is casual and comfortable. My only gripe is that I had a pretty long wait for dinner. We were there on a week night and it wasn't extremely... More

Great location (across from B&H) and good selection of beers. The Reuben was divine! Friendly service and a nice atmosphere all around. I'd surely go back!

We loved how the windows were wide open and we could watch the hustle and bustle of passers by. We sat by the front in a quaint little space that accommodated 7 of us. The Guinness was nicely poured and the chicken pot pie was awesome! My daughter had the Shepherds pie which was very good as well. All at... More

Walking back from the Javits center, we stopped in at Uncle Jacks up the street from here and quickly realized wrong place for us. So we had cocktails and quickly left. Went into McGarrys pub and we're quickly seated and served our drinks. We ordered wings, burger and shepherds pie. All the food was served hot and was all good... More

My husband and I, along with another couple visited McGarry's Irish Pub in Maple Plane, after seeing a mouth watering review on a local television station: http://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2014/12/13/derusha-eats-mcgarrys-irish-pub/. We did not leave disappointed! The Mussels were out of this world, as well the rest of our dinner! Loved it so much, that my husband and I went back the next day... More
