Mamoun's is a gem. The falafel sandwich here is $2.50, along with a drink its $4.50. I reccomend coming here late at night or for a quick lunch :)

Great food, the only but is the seating, but it is to be expected! Fast service, great taste! I went asked about each item in the menu... They took their time to explain and every choice based on the description given was certain. Sometimes it...More

When I lived in New York I ate Mamoun's at least twice a week. My favorite is the falafel sandwich with hummus and tabouleh. So unbelievably delicious and filling. Added bonus: you save so much money on lunch that you can treat yourself to dessert...More

People line up at Mamoun's day and night (open till 5 AM) and they're always satisfied. The falafel sandwiches come fast, with or without hummus or baba ghanoush; they don't cost much and are delicious. Shawarma and kebabs too. There are a couple of tables;...More

This place is HUGELY popular and it's easy to see why. The line is always out the door but, don't worry, they churn their delicious falafel sandwiches out so fast your stomach won't be rumbling for long. For $3 you can get a tasty falafel...More

It was cracked up to be sooo good, but really, it's not THAT good. Not everyone likes falafel, so make sure you're aware that that's the only thing to get here. And still, they're not as good at Mamoun's then at a lot of chearper...More

First time I tried the schawarma sandwich, really enjoyed it. Second time around, I went for the falafel, it was very good, though not the best I've tried in NYC. But for 2.50$ you can't do better than Mamoun's Falafel. Only 2 seating tables so...More

For $3 dollars you can get a hummus and felafel sandwich. It is probably the best felafel sandwich I've ever had and I've been to both the east and west village locations. If you prefer meat, the lamb/beef sandwich for $5 is also superb. My...More

Worst, most overly deep fried, greasy falafel I have ever had. Stale pita. Wouldn't feed it to a dog.

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.

It is hole in a wall. No tables inside, just a stand where people can eat. You may eat while standing outside as well. It is kind of a take out restaurant with few high seats.
