A wonderful experience with the top shelf quality of the food, creativity of the cooking and plating are matched by the impeccable service. A great way to celebrate a special occasion or just to treat yourself to a memorable evening out.

Very special and unique. The place to go in New York City if you want to feel truly cared for, and like you have been transported one of the best restaurants in Europe. Where you don't want to leave at the end of the night because you feel so good, but can leave, because you have been so well cared... More

Bouley is a throwback to the old ways of dining and eating. It's a bit over the top now for me at 68. Been there done that but I was taken last night by dear friends and we had a wonderful time and I fasted all today. Perhaps the entree's were to laden with our choices and beyond the initial... My wife and I celebrated a milestone birthday in September and had a fabulous experience. We splurged for the prix fix with wine accompaniment and reveled in our food choices while learning about the fantastic wine list. When I happened to inquire about a wine the sommelier was preparing to pour for a neighboring table, he promptly insisted we taste... More

Another wonderful meal at this fine restaurant in downtown NYC. We are surprised and confused why Bouley does not have a Michelin star rating, as their food, decor and service are top contenders with other fine restaurants such as Jean George, etc. The food was expertly prepared and served with beautiful presentation. Especially fun is the "bread cart" that circulates... More

Warm and inviting decor with old world charm- only updated. Our service was excellent - they work as a real team here. Our meal was really exceptional even though we chose the smaller prix fix menu. Not huge poprtions, but what you get is very tasty. (note: there were too many breads to choose from). A very nice wine list,... More

Lunch tasting menu is really the best value for the price (59 USD for an amazing 5 courses menu... where each customer can choose between different options).Really beautiful presentations, deep intense flavours, excellent combinations. Service is awesome, they really make you feel special. This might be the best restaurant in NYC.

We (2) visited Bouley on New Years Eve. Coming from South Africa to NYC for a week and having booked on Trip Advisor recommendations we were really excited. Sadly so let down. Our booking was for 10:30 which we arrived on time for. Sadly to seated in the breezy reception area for a good 30 minutes. We were finally seated... More

Staying in TriBeCa

Neighbourhood Profile
TriBeCa
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
