A pleasant surprise! My husband and I were out for a morning walk and stumbled upon this adorable cafe. We were greeted warmly and offered a table right away. I ordered the Jalapeño biscuit scramble, my husband ordered the blueberry pancakes. We ended up sharing both. DELICIOUS! I would be remiss if I didn't add how amazing the service was... More

Stopped here for brunch after walking the High Line. Family of four with two kids (12) and (8). Great food. Every plate clean. Check out the ice-cream parlour too

Friendly vibe, cozy ambiance. Our server was really really great. I ordered the grassfed cheese burger with french fries, which really is a special treat for me. It was everything I could have hoped for - toasty bun, juicy burger, great flavors. And the french fries were authentic and hand cut. Everyone else seemed to like their food too. My... More

We went to Bubby's on the first morning of our trip to NYC, we ended up going for breakfast or brunch 4 of the 6 mornings we were here. We went during the working week rather than at the weekend, we found the restaurant busy but not full on each occasion. Bubby's has a great relaxed atmosphere and a relaxed... More

Varied breakfast/ brunch menu with all sorts of American options. We had pancakes, eggs, bacon and syrup and eggs, bacon, potato hash, biscuits (like a scone). All was wonderful. Recommended booking. Lots of locals there and some kids.

Ate at Bubbys today and had the Eggs benedict and Nutella pancakes. Both were delicious! The pomegranate Mimosas wer also fab! The service from Victoria was fantastic and the place had a good vibe. Next time we are in NYC, we will be back!

Great for Sunday Brunch! Great cocktail list. The best Fried Chicken I've had (so far) in NYC. Busy place. Worth the trip.

Not a huge fried chicken fan, usually, but the fried chicken ons biscuit was excellent as were the other lunch dishes. Also very creative cocktails available or for the simpler taste. $5 PBR

Compared to last week, a good server can make all the difference in a dining experience. Once again, I forced my hubby to go out for dinner and made him drove all the way down here because of the great reviews. Plus, this particular restaurant was listed in a parents magazine and a parents website as kid-friendly. One of the... More

Neighbourhood Profile
What’s in a name? In this case it is the unique title of “Triangle Below Canal Street” that became a popular nickname in the 1970s. An attractive neighbourhood filled with handsome lofts on the edge of the Financial District, this lovely slice of Manhattan offers plenty of fine dining experiences and art galleries. Plus, it’s home to the city’s most exciting film event, the Tribeca Film Festival, that takes place here every year. TriBeCa is a great place to take a leisurely stroll before stopping into one of the many local restaurants or bars for a satisfying meal and cocktail. You’ll see families out for an afternoon walk, and don’t be surprised to come up with the occasional celebrity sighting. With such a great vibe, many of the city’s most famous residents call this neighbourhood home.
