Was going in with low expectations but was pleasantly surprised. Very tasty hot dog, nice roll. sweet pina colada drink. A NYC institution, and deservedly so.

I went there after hearing a lot about these famous hot dogs, the hot dogs were smaller than others in NYC, good but not memorable though. I tried the juices too, it was OK.

Really yummy hotdogs! After eating these weird red meat links from street carts that made me sick, I was glad to stop into this place for something I'd actually enjoy. The staff was friendly and helpful. The fruit juice was incredible, though I can't remember which flavor I had! It's a classic staple restaurant in NYC, and hope it stays... More

I think the hotdog was the usual fair... Tender hotdog, soft buns. I think their hotdogs are smaller than the ones you would usually find in NYC's street stalls. It goes without saying that you have to order two. 😊 I would buy Gray's than the ones in the street anytime since the price is relatively fixed. The ones in... More

Two hot dogs with papaya juice is the standard. Been around for several generations and I have a lot of history and when you n the area stop by for a youth reminder-very tasty. Still and with their mustard and chili is really good. As college kids we went quite often as it was and still is a good deal.... More

Hot dogs had a fantastic snap to them. We tried both with the saucy onions and with regular ketchup/mustard and preferred the ketchup. It let the hot dog shine through more. The buns were fresh and tasty, and the juice choices were fun. Would definitely come back. Worth the $5 for the recession special (2 dogs+drink). Note: Papaya juice is... More

I heard about this on my Double Decker bus tour and learned it is a NY institution. I stopped in for a couple dogs and Papaya juice and was not blown away. They are efficient and they were friendly, but I've had better hot dogs.

I don't have tried all the hot dogs of the city. This one is definitively a very good one. Many options, sides, sauces and drinks. Additionnal appetizers are all very good. A good 'finger food' place.
