We looked for a place close to the NY Historic Society, and Isabella's fit the bill perfectly. Five of us all ordered different salads, and everyone enjoyed her choice. Service was friendly and efficient; the food fresh and tasty. Would recommend and return. Minor point: Although it wasn't a problem, this good-sized restaurant seemed to have only one single bathroom.

Had a very late lunch, as we just arrived to NYC. Made reservations, were running late, called to let them know, and when we arrived we were greeted and seated immediately. The place was packed with locals. The menu is short and sweet- something for everyone... pastas, grilled chicken, fish and chips, fries, fried calamari- everything we had was very... More

Came here for a late lunch with my sister and her kids and my mom after a nice visit to the Museum of Natural History. The waitstaff was extremely nice, helping us reset the table after we spilled water. Although the wait for our food was quite long, the food was delicious. We had the lasagna, fish and chips, pasta... More

We popped in and asked for a walk up. They were fully booked but told us we could have a table as long as we could out in a set time. We'll, we had drinks and food sorted fast, it was great service and the atmosphere was classy, New York family style. Lots of nice buzz around us and we... More

Typically for a higher end restaurant in NYC you'd expect to pay for it. So after enjoying a good Pinot Noir, a decent appetizer, excellent salmon and a delicious creme brûlée I was pleasantly surprised to receive a bill that for four people was under $200. Maybe only just at $196, but with the great service and food how can... More

Isabella's provided a lovely warm escape from a cold night outside. The menu was interesting and fresh and serving sizes were very generous. As nice as the meals were, the highlight was our wonderful waitress, Lauren, who was bubbly and friendly with just the right amount of attention. Because of the large portion sizes, we ran out of room for... More

Lots of friends recommended Isabella's for eating uptown Manhattan. We found both the food and service to be mediocre. We were seated promptly, but the food just wasn't great.

No booking Hana the manageress said come by 10.30am and you will not have to wait . At 10am my partner called to try to book as we were meeting people who came from... More
