Our food was delicious with differences that enhanced the tastes. The service was excellent and helpful.

Nice meal but not all that, as they say! Small portions, slow service and the food is just OK. Not a memorable dish out of four entrees. Not a bad meal but with all the great restaurants in NYC, this place dropped off our list for the future. Reputations need to be upheld, not relied on.

It's seems impossible to get a reservation here - why I am not sure. There's never availability through OpenTable. However, there is seating at the bar for walk-ins or if you don't mind eating a late lunch sometimes you can land a table. Service is excellent and the food is always fresh. I've eaten here at least a dozen times... More

I went to ABC Kitchen solo this time. I like this place, But today I didn't book a reservation, (So first of all book a reservation) I am writing because everyday ABC kitchen comes in at a 4 star and sometime higher. Today was disappointing, so much that I'm leaving this review. I had the feeling today that they wanted... More

At this highly recommended restaurant and we were not disappointed. Probably one of the best meals at a top restaurant I have ever had. Don't expect a cheap meal, especially if you have wine but considering how expensive NYC is generally it probably equates to a top London restaurant's prices. If planning a trip to NYC, book a table and... More

From the outside, this doesn't look like. Match and the decor is very low key. The service is highly professional and the. Food imaginative and delicious. Normally it takes weeks to get a reservation and we followed our per Donald tradition of going for "impossible" reservations on the night of the super bowl. Made it home for the final overtime... Restaurant Week: 1. Tepid tap water. Apparently they save on ice. 2. For appetizer, a pedestrian Yankee Bean Soup fthat could have come from a Progresso can. 3. For entrée, a diner-grade Portobello Mushroom sandwich in an inedible bun. 4. For dessert, a dry and almost solid almond cake with half a sliced poached pear and a melting (because it... More

My budget doesn't allow for regular visits, but if I could afford it I'd be here every week. The food was outstanding, as was the service. Top notch in all respects.

We dined here during restaurant week. Food was excellent and very creative use of fresh, local products. Staff was very friendly and very attentive. The only thing I did not like is that the tables are jammed up next to each other. Was a great meal in NYC. Server recommended the salt caramel sundae......so glad she did...Outstanding!

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighbourhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets- much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighbourhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being the home of a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
