Worth the trip to try their food... the food was very delicious and even the butter was pre melted so it's just nice for the guest to enjoy with the bread... tomato bread was my fav.. the fish was superb... will definitely go there again for my next visit to NYC...

I sat at the bar. Le Bernardin's menu resembles a Japanese fusion restaurant menu. There is a good use of seafood and other kinds of ingredients such as wagyu beef. A good choice of wine even by the glass will compliment the experience. I wish the wine list has more burgundy wines to go with the amazing Japanese inspired French... More

I was so looking forward to Le Bernardin after first tasting Eric Riperts food at 'Blue' in the Grand Cayman but I came away disappointed! Was the meal & service pretty good - Yes it was, did it however live up to its 3 Michelin Star reputation, sadly not! My problems started with the reservations team who I can only... More

My third time in a 3 Michelin start restaurant. I was not disappointed. We ordered the 4 courses dinner menu. All was excellent. Service was correct. The place was quite full so I could not expect better than we had. I totally recommend this place

We had a reservation confirmed in this restaurant, using VISA Concierge (I include the proof in this review), for 2 adults and 1 baby (11 months). In the reservation, they clearly say that "Invitados: 2 comensales, 1 Bebe 11 meses", that means "Invited: 2 diners, 1 Baby 11 months". Later it says "al llegar al restaurante solicitar espacio para carreola... More

My meal here (tasting menu of course) was superbly refined. The execution, presentation, delivery were all on point. My "surf & turf" main dish was what I jokingly refer to as the best Chinese dish I have ever had - the broth was sublime. And the desserts were gorgeous. Our waiter seemed a little distant at first, but warmed up... More

I celebrated my Birthday here this year and had a very memorable time. Food, wine, service, atmosphere, care and attention to detail are all extraordinary. I do not eat meat or dairy. The waiter helped me order and had the kitchen make changes to some of the sauces. My dinner was perfect. The price is expensive, but you get what... More

My 9 y/o daughter is a big fan of good food, we enjoy cooking and we also watch a lot of cooking shows. Eric Ripert was one of the chefs she found on youtube that we have previously seen with Bourdain in other cooking show. In "Avec Eric" he seems to be a nice guy, not as charismatic as Bourdain... Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
