This was our second time at Molyvos. Wonderful fine dining. We have gotten hummus spreads both times we were there. The Pita bread and other breads come out warm and delicious. Husband had the baby lamb chops and loved them. I had chicken. Save room...More

Very much enjoyed our meal — consisting of appetizers and spreads. Taramosalata was fantastic as was roasted eggplant. Octopus was wonderful. Stuffed fresh figs a treat. Service efficient. Worth a try.

Solid Greek food in a setting that works for a business lunch. The tables are decently spaced apart and the noise level is not over the top. Appetizers and mains were good and the desserts also did not disappoint. Service was friendly and attentive.

We'd not been in Manhattan since 2000 and, hence, had not visited Molyvos since then. We were apprehensive as it had been a real favorite 17 years ago. I'm pleased to say, "It still is!" Wonderful lunch, great service, fair price. We would re-order everything...More

One of NY's more famous and favorite Greek restaurants. The stuffed cabbage rolls with avgolemono sauce are absolutely the best. Get as an appetizer to share or for yourself as an entree. They also have fresh seafood. Lamb chops are also very good. We always...More

The figs were delicious. Tomato appetizer was good. Stuffed pepper good. Stuffed cabbage just ok. Pork stew ok. Rice pudding was weird. Not overwhelming.

Started with an array of appetizers which were all good. One of the best things about a good Greek restaurant is the wonderful array of appetizers from spreads to all kinds of things. We had mostly seafood. Service was very good, and overall an enjoyable...More

Molyvos offers peace and quiet in a tastefully done setting within easy walking distance of City Center. We had the stuffed fig appetizer followed by the sliced lamb burger. Both were excellent, although the portions were on the light side. The service was slow and...More

Inspired by the traditions and heritage of the Greek islands and mainland, Molyvos has been one of New York's most beloved Greek restaurants since its opening in 1997. Named after the seaside village on the Greek island of Lesvos where the Livanos family roots originate, Molyvos is known throughout Manhattan for its rustic Greek country cooking. Executive Chef Carlos Carreto takes diners on a Grecian culinary journey through a variety of mezedes and appetizers, as well as hyper-local specialty Greek cheese and honey, fresh fish, wild greens and savory pies - all accompanied by the largest all-Greek wine list in the U.S.
