This is a great place to go for lunch or dinner. The fact that the food is kosher is a bonus. There is a diverse menu and everything was well prepared. I would especially recommend the salmon or bass kebabs. Appetizers were all good. Some were offered without being ordered. Service was very good as well.

Upon arrival, it took awhile before someone attended to us and sat us down at our table. We waited for almost 30 mins before anyone gave us the menu. When the food arrived, the rice was cold and not fit to be called "warm" food. This was an utter disappointment and for anyone looking for a good Persian/Iranian food, I... More

He is a cute rest in the heart of NYC. Food is rediculous and service is amazing! The different types of rice is a must and all the meats are soft and yummy! The bar has awesome drinks. Environment is clean quiet and comfortable. Would def recommend eating here!

It may sound like an oxymoron but Colbeh is a relatively new Persian/Kosher restaurant in midtown NY. The decor is not fancy and the service good but not especially attentive. The menu is creative and simply delicious. Ask the waiter for recommendations if you don't know this type of cuisine. The restaurant was crowded but we were able to get... More

Went there the other day for lunch. Ordered the small Kebab Koobideh. It was delicious, as was the rice and vegetables that accompanied the kabob. It was a good thing that I didn't order the large size. I wasn't even close to able to finish the smaller portion.

I came here because of the recommendation from a Jewish guy. The restaurant has a bar and a sushi area, but the main meal is serving Persian food. There will be some pita bread, marinated tomato, olive and cucumber as free tapas. The marinated tomato is a must try item, I personally don't like olive, because I don't like the... More

Its a cool place, good atmosphere, good service. For starters- the ghondi - which are persian meatballs made which chickpea powder were too sour- too much lemon was used, the hummous was so so, the main portions btw are big!! The rice is good, the Ghorme Sabzi was too sour- too much Persian lemon was used. The eggplant stew was... More

My wife and I went to Colbeh for dinner. The cuisine is Persian and it is a kosher restaurant. Now, my wife likes the Persian flavor palate, but I'm not totally enamored of it. She thought the food was great, but I wasn't necessarily thrilled. I will say that the service was superb; we told them we were in a... More

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
