What a gem. This food was fantastic. The restaurant was packed and the service was great. Chicken Tikka, Curries, the bread...just a great place for Indian food. We were lucky to have beat the onslaught of diners that arrived around 8:00 p.m.

Pongal is a rice based South Indian dish and the restaurant is named after it. The Pongal dish in this restaurant is one of the best I had. Though the other items are decent, I had better. Do try the Pongal in this place.

Pongal has been here for a number of years and just seems to get better and better. The kitchen specializes in South Indian Vegetarian dishes including a number that are sold in India as street food. We were here with two people who had spend...More

I'm not sure whether we just visited at the wrong time, but the service was really poor. Food was really slow in coming out, and when it did it wasn't great. Waited over 35 minutes to get our very basics Moong dals dosa orders, before...More

Ordered a dish off their special weekend menu (Sat., late afternoon) that they had run out of. Substituted a dish without asking me - it was awful & I sent it back. Ordered a second dish. Food was spicy, but no real flavor - just...More
