Food is very fresh; you will feel the taste and flavor of each and every item of the menu, distinctly. Obviously a typical restaurant to enjoy Chinese food. Very comfortable and a superior service. Sophisticated ambiance.

In New York celebrating my mums 60th birthday with our girlfriends. This restaurant was recommended by a stranger so was a bit of a gamble....... but sometimes that's what you need to do. We absolutely loved it. It has a busy fun atmosphere with the most amazing staff ever!!! To top it off my mother is so fussy (that's why... More

My new wife and I visited here on a recommendation from friends on the last day of our honeymoon. I am delighted to say the best had been saved for last. Unfortunately, we weren't aware that Mr Chow was a dress up sort of place and turned up in shorts and Tshirts having spent a day shopping and sightseeing. The... More

The food was okay and very over priced. But I loved the experience. This wouldn't be a choice of mine again. Great service and ambience but I feel it is very overpriced. And it's just labeled as the to-do spot!

Very nice chinese restaurant. The food is very good especially must try the chicken satay and the crispy beef. However this place is very noisy. We were there with colleques and we really had hard time hearing each other.

Mr Chows is modern Chinese cuisine. Decorated by a calder mobil, I miss the original Lalique Cristal doors. Need to have the green shrimp, algae seaweed, Then Peking Duck and the chinese noodles.

Read a recent NYT review of this restaurant and it brought back a flood of memories. Was living in London in 1968 having moved there from San Francisco where I lived two blocks from Chinatown. Exited about trying a good Chinese restaurant (I was not yet familiar with the then small London Chinatown), I tried Mr. Chow. Very expensive and... More

We had heard about this restaurant through friends and they believe it was the best they had tried in NYC. They were correct!! The presentation of the food, professionalism of the service and atmosphere made this a very special experience. The price is what you would expect for fine dining in NYC.

Excellent service, and high quality gourmet food. This is a sophisticated, serious restaurant with deliciously prepared cuisine and quality, high end service. It's been around "forever", and it's expensive, but you get a large quantity of food and outstanding quality. Great atmosphere, too.

I booked this hotel for a meak with friends on our visit in Dec 2015. The food was very nice and the drinks was flowing but the price was extortionate. Even for me who booked and knew it was going to be for a special occasation, it was eye-wateringly pricey. The alcohol was as much as the food. Four people... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
