The food is amazing and the staff is incredible. I love the sate chicken with the sauce. I'm in love with the special lobster, and the squab. This is my favorite place to eat in NYC. My family and I go about one a month or so.

Terrific food . Attentive service. No need for a menu. Ask your captain for suggestions. . Tell them what you like. And voila. Dinner!

Interesting dining experience -- nice room with good food choices, still hard to sort out on how to organize your dinner. Reasonable selection might be beef and prawns, and the Peking duck if you come with a party of at least three. First-rate wine list but fairly high-end. Ordering a coffee at the end is a good way to break... More

Mr. Chow is honestly not even on par with a suburban mall food court's typical Chinese option. It is an utter waste of money and there are a thousand better restaurants in Manhattan alone. Don't waste your money on these bland, tasteless tiny portions of so-called Chinese cuisine. To put it mildly, we were highly disappointed by the food from... More

I've been to several Mr. Chow locations in the US and have always enjoyed the style, decor and the food is always good but often not great. I hadn't been to the 57th street location in 15 years but wanted to share with a friend who lives near by. Place was packed on a Saturday night mostly by tourists who... More

Just enjoyed another delicious meal at Mr Chow. I love this place. It's good food in a glamorous setting. The service is good, efficient and without the attitude of a lot of fine dining places. There's often celebrities here, but it's really about the food. Delish! It's pretty expensive but the food is worth it. It can get crowded and... More

It was the first time at this location and we liked it very much with the bar at the entrance and the dining area in the lower part. Potstickers so authentic, salt and pepper prawns with the shell, and then a gambler's duck with fried rice. Very generous portions, well served and with a good wine list. The places very... More

Food is very fresh; you will feel the taste and flavor of each and every item of the menu, distinctly. Obviously a typical restaurant to enjoy Chinese food. Very comfortable and a superior service. Sophisticated ambiance.

In New York celebrating my mums 60th birthday with our girlfriends. This restaurant was recommended by a stranger so was a bit of a gamble....... but sometimes that's what you need to do. We absolutely loved it. It has a busy fun atmosphere with the most amazing staff ever!!! To top it off my mother is so fussy (that's why... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
