Oh the horrors of downtown New York's McDonalds. The good: it is open late. That's about it. The bad: Food was strange (best way to put it). Bathroom is locked with a code to prevent the addicts of going in there (but people were holding the door to one another, so it is useless). Bathrooms were INCREDIBLY filthy! Restaurant itself... These locations are always busy and it seems long to order usual breakfast items. Tables not too clean and you just have to be careful with anything of value left lying around.

Close to the hotel and more meal variety. Fast efficient service but can get full(busy) at peak hours.

We often stop at this McDonalds for tea and apple cake before going to an evening performance. The service at the counter is efficient. There is always an available table, and the bathrooms are clean for such a popular restaurant

Great for a quick coffee but that's about it. I actually received pretty good service, though, and consider that a stroke of good luck.

A typical Mad Dee's. You get what you pay for, so don't expect much. OK for a quick breakfast in a busy neighbourhood.

Nice to have some cheaper food options in New York. Nothing amazing just about what you would expect.

Any time of day this restaurant appears busy. We would go for breakfast but often you would see homeless folks inside. The bathroom was not clean but the food was served hot. Customer service lacks but the place is non-stop.

For a McDonald's, this has the foulest smelling bathroom. Granted there are a lot of people using it, but it should be cleaned more often than it is. If this is the bathroom, how is the rest of their standards?

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
