It's really hard for me to be objective with this review. I'm not to much for kale, smoke coming from under glass when my food is delivered, portions smaller than a pet hamster and a menu that felt as though it's written in a foreign...More

Spend a night eating stunning food and getting great service from the team in the restaurant. Of all the places we've eaten in NYC The Musket Room is the best. As opposed to ordering a bottle of wine we had the sommelier suggest a different...More

One of my favorite places in NYC. On a beautiful, quiet street in Nolita. Amazing food, and amazing service. Every staff member is friendly and attentive.

The place was humming but we had a nice quiet corner for four. The food was contemporarily presented and delicious and with the varied wine selection it was easy to find a good match. The service was unobstrusive, but there when we needed it. We...More

Despite being just off of busy Houston Street, Nolita
maintains a low-key vibe that makes it a pleasant
retreat in the heart of lower Manhattan. Short for
“North of Little Italy,” Nolita was once considered to
be part of Little Italy. Today, the neighbourhood is
popular with young fashionistas popping in and out of
the chic independent boutiques that line Mulberry,
Mott and Elizabeth Streets. In addition to shopping,

The Musket Room brings the spirit of New Zealand and the country’s diverse cuisine to Manhattan’s Nolita neighborhood. Chef and owner Matt Lambert, a New Zealand native, created a menu that charts the evolution of New Zealand cuisine, from the country’s Old World traditions and Asian influences to its modern day dedication to local and seasonal offerings. Inspired by an era in New Zealand when adventure and discovery blossomed, The Musket Room offers a modern approach to the country’s culinary past, serving dinner, drinks and weekend brunch.
