This is one of my favorite places for dessert in the city. Everything is so delicious and it smells so good. I love coming in the morning for an espresso and a cannoli.

Yummy coffee and treats on a dreary day. Long wait, but worth it. All our drinks were delicious. Thank you.

Having lived in Italy I was at first very skeptical about the authenticity of this establishment. Would it be too touristy being in the heart of Italy? There were so many great reviews. Should I lower my expectations? What a wonderful surprise. Farrara maintains a high standard for its pastries. The Lobster Tail is not to be missed - a... More

well presented baker in the middle of little Italy that specialises in Italian baked sweets and gelato. The quality of the food we bought was fantastic. Try the cannoli.

When people think this is a good place where you can eat italian pastries, they never went in italy. The worst cannolo i ever tried in my life, i can make better honestly.

We stopped here after grabbing a pie from Lombardi's just up the street for a coffee and some dessert. The line outside was long, but walk in and give them your name and you will be surprised to see you can be seated instantly. We were told to go upstairs (which was actually better than downstairs) and sat down right... More

A trip to little Italy is not complete without a trip to Ferrara's. We had a very good lunch and of course the bakery is sooo good. We each ordered something different and shared so we could get a variety of food. It is definitely worth the stop!

We stopped here for cannoli after dining at a nearby restaurant. We were not disappointed. They were delicious. I am only sorry that I couldn't try any of the other delicious treats that they had on display.

Stopped by for dessert after a delicious meal at Peter Lugers. Been here many times and love the trio - small bites with many different items to choose from. All delicious. Hot chocolate and latte were excellent too. U may experience a short wait time - especially on wkends - but SO SO worth it!!

Located in Little Italy, this little cafe really reflects a beautiful heritage passed on from generations to generations. The staff is genuinely attentive, kind and wants you to have a great experience. We had coffee and decided on the dessert plate: 3 desserts of our choice. We took the cannoli , tiramisu and neapolitan. Absolutely delicious, great idea with the... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighbourhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
