Went here for dessert after a meal in Chinatown. Loved everything we ordered. Great selection of so many things, great coffee and expresso. Stop here and take something with you if you can't sit and eat it there. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful cakes, lovely coffee, nice enough place but quite expensive for what is essentially a snack.

We stopped in to Ferrara's for some pastry on Sunday morning but ended up staying for breakfast. The food was excellent as are any of their pastries. Since we had eaten breakfast, we took our pastries "to go"!

I try never to leave NYC without stopping in at Ferrara's for one of their mouth watering pastries. There's a difference between a bakery and Italian pastry. I went with a small group. We got gelato which was delicious. We also got chocolate covered cannoli, tiramisu, Napoleons, and a Diplomat. Each was more delicious than the last. We got the... More

Stopped by to get a cannoli for my daughter. She loved it! I had only heard about a sidewalk cannoli bar, and now I've been a patron at one. Must go back and try more of their delicacies.

We stood in a Que for a good 20 minutes to get into this bakery and it was 100% worth the wait. The bakery itself is lovely. Very clean, yet cosy and inviting. The staff were kind and took our orders quickly. The christmas decorations were fab. I had the chocolate cannoli and a hot chocolate which was divine! Highly... More

If you're looking for excellent Italian pastries this is the place to come to. The cannoli and sfogliatelle are outstanding. When we travel to NYC this is on our must do list.

After viewing an exhibit on Broome Street, we ducked into Ferrara's to get a quick lunch. I will state immediately that dessert is probably what our focus should have been. You have to pass by all the cases of cookies, cakes and cannolis to get to the table section, and they looked wonderful. We ordered from the brunch menu where... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighbourhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
