Great place to have a pizza. Only a minute away from Times Square is this pizzeria. It is always busy and when we got in we had to wait for at least 30 minutes. When I wanted to show my girl the painting on the wall we we offered to get a table 😆 If you ask me .. the... More

We visited on a Saturday night after multiple recommendations. We enjoyed a couple of reasonably priced beers at the bar while waiting for our table. The wait was not as long as expected for a Saturday night and not as long as they estimated when we put our name in. Once we got to our table, the service was very... More

John's came highly recommended and did not disappoint. It was an after show dinner and could not have been better. Cheap and cheerful and perfect! We shared a small (it was late) and had half Hawaiian and half Margherita; we were both very happy! Perfect location, perfect pizza, perfect service!

I am from Staten Island and have been away from my NY pizza for over 20 years, but when I get back I always go here. The brick oven pizza and atmosphere are incomparable to anything on this planet! The wait staff always makes sure you order the exact pizza you want and when it comes out it far exceeds... More

It is hard to find a good restaurant in Times Square so we often go to John's for excellent pizza and pasta. The restaurant is in an old church which makes for an interesting space. Very friendly service.

This restaurant had been recommended to us, so we were looking forward to a good pizza. We had to queue to get in which we expected but didn't mind. We were seated in a corner by the window which was a bit disappointing as I would have preferred to be in the hustle and bustle of the main hub. Pizza... More

What's not to like at John's Pizza located @ Times Square in the Theatre area. Looks like a whole in the wall... small entrance area... leads to larger bare waiting area... Get a number ...when table is ready for you... your number shows up over the bar... And now experience a grand room that looks theatrical, looks like a museum...and... More

We had bruschetta to share as a starter, really nice, then a large traditional with ham and mushroom topping. It was gorgeous, but too big for the two of us, so the staff kindly put some in a bag to take away. I had a pint of IPA beer, really nice. Would really really recommended!

I love coal-oven pizza, so I truly enjoyed the pizza we ordered. The restaurant is beautiful and dim, perfect for a date night.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
