We had booked a table in advance on the basis that previous reviews had indicated they could cater for food allergies, which so far in NY had been a bit hit and miss. We were not disappointed! The decor was great, extremely helpful and friendly...More

I made an Open Table reservation for 11:30 lunch on a Wednesday. Based on the crowd, I do not think a reservation is necessary. I've eaten here several times and love the ambiance, the openness, the view through the huge windows and the pretty Acapulco-diver...More

We were looking for a Mexican restaurant while walking around Columbus circle so we decided to try this place. The margarita was very good and I had the carnitas. It was a lot of food but the pork was very tender and the 3 sauces...More

This place has gone down. The food was Taco Bell at upper West Side pricing. Service was terrible, food had no taste, so what does that leave? I arrived on time and they sat me right away. I waited 15 minutes for my husband and...More

We have eaten hear often and have always marveled at how well they meet our expectations. As you would expect, the margaritas are exceptional, and are brought to the table immediately. The guacamole is prepared at the table, adding a theatrical note to a really...More

Our highly anticipated second Rosa Mexicano location opened in July 2000. Just steps away from Lincoln Center, this impressive David Rockwell-designed space features a 30-foot iridescent blue tile water wall that spans both levels of the restaurant and is adorned with 240 miniature cliff divers. Here you’ll also find a dramatic “floating” staircase made of orange and red terrazzo slabs and backlit panels behind the bar embedded with rose petals. Awarded “Best Restaurant 2000” by Interiors Magazine, this unique, contemporary look ushered in a new era for us at Rosa Mexicano.
