Mmmmm, we had the mussels and the lasagna Bolognese, both wonderful. Enjoyed a late alfresco lunch on a gorgeous summer day. Several clocks on the walls, but not hurried. -Delicious desserts from a tray & worth the calories. -near NYU -reasonably priced -open air -good...More

Amazing atmosphere and location, relatively inexpensive with well stocked bar with all the Italian goodies. I'm an Italian foodie, so I'm kind of hard to impress. I'd say the food here is solidly good, not ethereal, but quite good. What's magical here are the Italian...More

I cannot say enough about this restaurant. The atmosphere is very cozy and italian, this is not an italian "wanna be" restaurant, this is the real thing. My husband wasn't feeling well the first time we went and when I told the waiter, he had...More

My son and I stumbled upon this place after visiting NYU. The people were friendly, service was excellent, and the food was typical Italian, bur very nicely prepared. Price was reasonable (cheap for New York). I'd recommend it.

dropped in on this place after the restaurant we had in mind was booked. Great luck. The atmosphere was extremely comfortable and service was old school (excellent). Had our best dining experience of NY. Will be back.

If you are looking for an old school restaurant experiance this is one of the few left. Service is great. Food is okay. The restaurant itself needs some major work. Take a peek at the kitchen you will be a little horrified.

Greenwich Village
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was
here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter
culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for
its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to
get a feel for this diverse and energetic
neighbourhood. You’ll find NYU students, street
performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the
fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.
