OMG, this place served the BEST alternative Thanksgiving dinner of all time. The food was beyond awesome! The only problem was the temperature of the restaurant - WAY TOO HOT! The restaurant is beautiful. A tad expensive too.

The concept of this restaurant is that it changes every season. They change the menu, the decoration,...which I found particularly cool. I visited the recently opened 'Autumn' edition. Their food is amazing and the entrees are remarkable. Service is also quite good.

Be warned that this place is for those who appreciate presentation over satisfaction and quantity. Yes the taste was satisfactory. But the portions were woefully inadequate. Including the alcohol portions. Be prepared to spend approximately $120 per person and leave still craving your favorite slice of pizza. I have to admit that the quality was far above average. The frustration... More

Beautifully appointed for autumn! Very comfortable. We had a small booth for four. They were busy, but not packed and the noise level was very reasonable. I had the Salmon Benedict, which was delicious. They had the perfect classic Bloody Mary's too! I would definitely come back again!

we had been to this restaurant previously (old location) and liked it a lot. recently we went to park avenue autumn and were very disappointed. we were six people and five of us had to send our dinners back (and some appetizers). i will say the manager could not have been nicer and handled it very well, but we will... We had the price fix menu and it was great. The pastry came out first(would ask for it at the end!!!). Had the branzino, salmon with eggs, crab toast with butternut squash, and shrimp with slaw. Loved the original and flavorful, seasonally appropriate, selections. No problem with seating or service at brunch. Also had great grapefruit and cinnamon belllinis!! Highly... More

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighbourhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets- much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighbourhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being the home of a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
