A very traditional looking place in a beautiful neighborhood, I had tried to eat here before but I couldn't find the time.. I sat at the bar and ordered the Angus Meatloaf with home made mashed potatoes. It was excellent and the service at the bar was very good, The ambiance is very laid back, intimate, at least at lunch... More

We are from out of town and found this place by chance. We ordered burgers and they were amazing, but if you go you must order the TBone. We wish we would have. Food is on the pricey side for what it is, but it's worth it. The only negative was we got charged a music fee which we weren't... More

We happened upon this place whilst looking for another restaraunt / bar. To describe it I'd say it is a jazz club / bar with nice layout & furnishings that suit it's jazz club theme. The staff are very friendly & the food is excellent. I had the best burger ever tasted (really!) my wife had a great seafood dish... More

On a trip to the city to check out some great jazz music and to spend the first, nicest day of the month to get out and walk, we wound up at knickerbocker-- and I'm so glad we did. We tend to eat the more exotic foods on a menu wherever we eat and we had some great choices here.... More

I visited the Knickerbocker for lunch on a Sunday. The place was fairly busy with a brunch crowd that was a good mix of young and old patrons. The interior is clean with warm lighting, cozy bar, and large wrap-around booths. I was quickly greeted and seated. My server was professional, friendly and attentive, without being harassing. I ordered a... More

This place had been recommended and boy it did n't disappoint!!! Chilled out atmosphere (jazz bar), excellent service and quite simply the moooost delicious T-Bone steak we have ever tasted. It was so mature and tenderised that you could have just used a fork...WOWWWWWWW! I can still taste it now.....we often joke about flying back to New York just to... More

My best friend has a thing for this restaurant because it brings back memories from when he used to hang out with his former co-workers there, and because it's conveniently located near where he works; so accompanying him, I've had the opportunity to eat at Knickerbocker on a few occasions-and I'm glad that I did, because it served to show... A real old style New York steakhouse. Good service, Great atmosphere and fantastic food. Highly recommend it. We have just returned from dinner there tonight (Saturday) so there was also some fantastic live jazz music, a real treat. Not cheap but worth the money. Go to knickerbocker!!

I got together with my girlfriend for brunch yesterday and we decided on Kickerbocker. Her family owns a steakhouse in Winnipeg and I had thought this might be the NYC equivalent decor wise. The restaurant was mellow crowd wise on this Saturday afternoon. We got there at 1 pm and were seated at one of those gorgeous booths. We asked... More

We were doing some shopping and wondering where we might go for dinner. The lady waiting on us suggested Otto's or the Knickerbocker as 2 places nearby as having good food at reasonable New York City prices. Since we've done Otto's a couple of times - love their pasta and pizza - we decided to give the Knickerbocker a try.... More
