Meh- the usual, sugary margaritas and basic american mexican. If you want a ground beef taco, this is your spot. I'd recommend Rosa Mexicana a few blocks up instead if you're looking for true mexican.

My friend and I met here for brunch and they have great drink prices. I think the mimosas are $2 with the brunch menu. The bathroom is in an odd location behind the bar and the place is small but cheap.

Another visit, this time with my family at the 50th st. Branch. Food is very good and on decent prices and the Buldog drink makes you happy.

I went to Blockheads in the middle of winter, so no outdoor seating. In fact, it was quite warm considering the walls disappear in the summer. My friends got food, and to be honest the food didn't look all that special but it was Mexican which is always pretty delicious no matter where you go. They commented it was decent,... More

We are dinner here one night after we were craving burritos. We sat outside which was pleasant. Wait staff was nice. Good was good. We ordered minis and still each only ate half - they are huge! The chips and salsa is amazing! Will be back.

Good food, similar to other location but more expensive than the downtown location (frozen margaritas $5 here) service was sort of slow but they have options for vegans. A great spot to get together with friends but I would 100% recommend the downtown location over this one

This review pertains only to the brunch, well, what was supposed to be brunch anyway. We showed up here at 2:45pm on a sunday afternoon, largely because it was a nice day and they had outdoor seating. Around 5 minutes later a server shows up and gives us the brunch menus. The brunch deal was $8-9 for an entree plus... More

We were pleasantly surprised to get quick seating...a quirky atmosphere one would expect from Lower East Side ...or Williamsburg. Excellent food! Wonderful flavors on very tender meats. Gluten-free options were also flavorful. Very large portions made the food a good value for the City...will have to try Margaritas next time.

This place is decent for an informal dinner. A little difficult in getting information before you arrive but once there and if you get a seat without an issue (arrive early on a Saturday) then it serves its purpose. I do, however, feel that they need to re-train their managers. Spoke to one and was told one thing. Spoke to... More

Staying in Upper East Side

Neighbourhood Profile
Upper East Side
Combining quiet residential neighbourhoods that have easy access to Central Park with world-famous cultural institutions, the Upper East Side is one of the most livable places in the city. Along beautiful Fifth Avenue, you’ll find Museum Mile, which houses many of the nation's most famous attractions in a single stretch, like The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Guggenheim Museum. Walk a few blocks into the neighbourhood, and you’ll come to Park Avenue, the poshest address in the city, lined with grand apartment buildings as far as the eye can see. Even if you can’t afford the luxury goods along Madison Avenue, it’s still a great spot to window shop an afternoon away.
