Have been here many times! The menu has something for everyone, and the daily specials are yummy. The atmosphere makes you feel like you are in a cafe in Paris. The service is exemplary, and you feel like you are dining among friends. I have never had a bad experience here, either with lunch or dinner.

This is a regular haunt when I am in New York. It is relaxed and unfussy, the food is very good, the prices reasonable and the portions respectable. Nice selection of wines by the glass too. And it is one of the few relatively un-noisy places in NYC.

Great find on the corner of Spring and Thomson Street Bistro Les Amis is a true treat. I had lunch there ordered pasta in pumpkin and garlic sauce white sauce with chicken. It was juicy with top quality fresh ingredients. One got a sense that they take their food seriously an the results are great. The ambiance is traditional and... More

Very good French bistro in prime SOHO. Even though it's in a touristy area, the ambience is quite nice, food is excellent as is the service. Prices are fine as well. We really loved the extensive menu. We had steak(excellent) and sea bass(also excellent). The blueberry crumble is really good too.

A great French bistro with a casual atmosphere. Bistro Les Amis is a friendly neighborhood place where the servers and some of the customers clearly knew each other well. Our server gave us great recommendations on wine, oysters, and what was fresh. And he was friendly and charming. Best of all, the food was excellent! Great find!

Nice food. Expensive-ish. Polite, attentive service from the charming French waiter proved the exception that proves the rule. Eat inside (mosquitos made a feast of my sandal and short clad legs/feet).

Bistro Les Amis is the perfect spot for dinner al fresco on a summer night. There is street side seating on 2 sides of the restaurant which makes for great people watching! We had been here years ago and decided to try it again. the staff was really engaging and professional. The food was very good especially the salad with... More

This was our first visit to Bistro Les Amis. This restaurant is a quaint neighborhood bistro with both indoor and outdoor seating and a pleasant but old fashion atmosphere. Judging by the decors this restaurant has been around for some time. We got a nice table at the open windows and the service was pleasant and prompt. I had an... More

We were here for dinner and really happy with everything. The waiters were kind and attentive but not around us constantly. The food was delicious and the portions generous, I had the appetizer size mussels which was plenty for a main course and the broth was delicious and my friend had the gnocchi and loved them. It took a while... More

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
