Cute little place but it was so crowded-tables very close together. Food was super and wine list extensive. Service was good and selections varied. we had the traditional turkey and it was superb.

My brother and I joined our family members for a NYC dinner to celebrate each of our children's birthdays. Our kids live in NYC now so we wanted to celebrate at a nice place with great food. Bistro Les Amos did not disappoint. Our server and staff were superb. They were fun, jovial and always available to help with anything... More

I recently stumbled upon this little French restaurant. It is completely unpretentious, and reminds me of a neighborhood bistro in Paris. I have had lunch and dinner there, and both have been very good. The cassoulet is great in colder months. The times I have been there, this restaurant has not been mobbed like other Spring St eateries.

We reserved for 3 people at Bistro Les Amis last night and ended up with only two of us for the first hour and then two more joining. The staff at Bistro Les Amis handled our unique situation in stride and were friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing! I had the duck breast and it was perfectly done. Others... More

My husband booked Bistro Les Amis for us to begin our New Year's Eve celebration at. Though we arrived earlier than our reservation, we were taken care of and seated immediately. The lovely, quaint and charming bistro was beautifully and colourfully decked out for the New Year's celebration which was a true treat. All the staff were warm and charming... More

My Mom and I had dinner on a recent trip to NY. She loves French food which we don't get often where we live and due to others preferences. We had escargot which we haven't had in awhile. Les Ami's does it a little differently then the classic and it is very nice! I wish I wasn't splitting it and... More

Visited with a table of 12 ( including children). Smallish restaurant which was very full. Made very welcome and the service was really good. The real surprise was the quality of the food. It was outstanding. I like a cassoulet. This one was the best of many I have tried. Loved it. Would very happily fine their every nite...and order... More

We stopped in with our family for a few appetizers and cocktails. The escargot was amazing and so was the goat cheese tarte appetizer. Service was good and we had a nice time.

I ate at a funny time so I was the only person in the restaurant. The bread is amazing, perfectly crunchy. The French onion soup had a terrific flavor and a good amount of gooey cheese. That would have been enough food but I had ordered a Croque Monsieur that they cheerfully added an egg for a Croque Madame. Again... More

Have been here many times! The menu has something for everyone, and the daily specials are yummy. The atmosphere makes you feel like you are in a cafe in Paris. The service is exemplary, and you feel like you are dining among friends. I have never had a bad experience here, either with lunch or dinner.

Staying in SoHo

Neighbourhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York City, SoHo (South of Houston) is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway teems with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore by foot. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district –majestic cast-iron architecture everywhere you look. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city. The pretty streets of Nolita (North of Little Italy) offer a more sedate vibe, with plenty of tiny boutiques and hip restaurants to seek out.
