It is a tad pretentious. Skews towards hipster, but really a solid neighborhood joint. Coffee if good, but carrot cake is HEAVEN. Of course it's a bid overpriced, but what they do they do well, and I've never had rude service.

Loved the atmosphere, authentic, no frills. Enjoyed the coffee, more so than the food for breakfasts, would return but probably look at alternatives on the menu.

For me I love this place. Coffee is fresh, bagels awesome and there's more! If you're in the area stop by. It's good.

Ive found NY does not have the same cafe culture that sydney and many other cities have, so when i found this place, i was super excited! Its small and the tables are really enough for 1 or 2 people, but i like that you can sit down and do some work on your macbook. They say that they don't... More

We stopped for coffee and pastries a few times. Depending when you get there, the line can be long or no line at all. The staff is working hard and fast to move things along. The pastries were very good. People like to hang out here, just like any good coffee shop.

My granddaughter who is four chose it. She chose the pink pop tart and then said she did not like it. The pastries are reliable good.

One of the best coffee in the city, they have a good variety of coffee and food, you can also have beer or wine.

There are many amazing coffee spots to choose from in this part of town, but 71 Irving has some of the best house blend coffee in the city. In addition to their extensive coffee options - the food is incredibly. Some of my favorites include, an egg and cheese on an everything bagel, a ham and cheese pressed croissant, and... More

Cosy cafe with great bagels and even better coffee. Indie rock over the sound system. Friendly staff. Buzzing with chatter.

While people were queued up for what looked like an hour wait at the restaurant next door, my husband and I waited no longer than what you would wait on a Starbucks line. We had usual breakfast fare, bagel, coffee and juice, but the staff was quick and quite friendly.
