We are from Hong Kong and travel a lot. Ordered two dim sums, steamed fresh fish, sea cucumber, and vegetables. These were the more expensive dishes and were all at the recommendations of the restaurant staff. The dim sums were below average with the sticky rice chicken real bad. The fish while fresh was not steamed the real Cantonese way.... More

We had different dim sum and enjoyed all of them. The price is perfectly correct and the service is friendly and efficient. Perfect restaurant for business lunch but very quiet on evening.

We dropped in for dinner on a Saturday based on these reviews and that it was near our hotel. The menus were long - one normal, and 2 specialty - plus beverage lists. A bit much to take in. We ordered 2 preparations of lobster at less than $20 each, but first starters and fried rice. All delicious and true... More

Not quite the traditional tea house (English or Japanese); however it was an enjoyable experience. Servers were friendly, accommodating and atmosphere was soothing.

I didn't think I would find such fine Chinese cuisine in New York. I have lived in Taiwan many years (and lived in and travelled through many other Asian countries) where I was lucky to taste a lot of the very best Chinese or Chinese-inspired food. In Radiance, however, I found exquisite dishes - many Cantonese, but also others like... More

Was looking for a simple Chinese meal in Manhattan. Found Radiance near my mid-town hotel and was very pleased. A higher end ambience greets, sort of a place you'd bring your first date to impress. A good selection of teas, but I just wanted a simple quick meal. Ordered the beef brisket noodle soup. Was delicious and hit the spot... More

This was our first lunch in NYC and it was very good even though we were not down in China Town. Our server was very nice. The spring rolls were excellent - crispy but not greasy. The sesame chicken and general's chicken were very good. We tried some exotic iced teas that were very very good. For $7 they better... More

In the hustle and bustle of NYC this place is an oasis. Tranquil with great service and an amazing menu, this was a very pleasant meal. Highly recommended.

If you like calming and relaxing music and also Asian cuisine, this is the place. We went for dinner, and the wellness soup and the duck salad were superb. The seafood fried rice is nothing less than fabulous. Accompanying all this with one of the teas, and you will have a perfect dinner.

Just east of busy Lexington Avenue this is an elegant quiet Chinese place with a very unusual menu. Not typical dishes of 98% of the Chinese places in town, but carefully prepared specialties, such as Chinese "risotto" with seafood, and giant, giant prawn and fried rice noodles with a mixed of seafood. Quite reasonable for the quality and the ambiance.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
