I was on a Business Trip in NY for a few days and everybody knows breakfast in Hotel is not the best one. The bakery was a recommendation of a colleague and it was great. They have a huge selection of different bread, nice and tasty cookies, really good coffee and a small but fine selection of different breakfast. I... More

I stay in NYC twice a year on business and I walk to Sullivan's Bakery every single morning for breakfast. The food is outstanding--freshly made each day. I also occasionally get food to go for lunch...and I always take some treats home with me when I leave town. The service is friendly--It is simply the best!

I love bread and other baked goods - and this place does not disappoint. Tasty coffee supplements a fantastic variety of offerings, and they even have fresh-squeezed orange juice in house (a big bonus in my book). There was nothing I couldn't see enjoying, but my morning breakfast of banana bread and coffee was a great carb-loading start to my... More

Friendly service and enjoyable bread snacks. Sandwiches looked brilliant. A great local haunt. Decent beer on tap too.

During my current stay in the area, I have already been here three times. The stuff is top quality, always fresh and tasty. Believe a guy from Germany who sometimes prefers baked goods over a steak if I tell you this is the place to get your breakfast rolls. And the prices are surprisingly fair. Not overpriced at all. Great start to the day, brioche with eggs and crispy bacon, yum, lots of other choices, and all fresh, baked on premises.

We stopped here before taking the hop- on and hop -off ferry cruise which was walking distance from this bakery. This place is so different from the food stands around the harbor, and glad that my friend and I found this jewel.Everything there looked good but I enjoyed a slice of pizza and really good cup of coffee which we... My mom and I are always on the hunt for mushroom pizza! We stopped here around 11am and got a piece of each of the pizzas they had out. We tried the mushroom, zucchini, potato, and cauliflower. We picked it up and brought it to Columbus circle to eat for lunch before we explored Central Park. The mushroom was by... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
