J'adore Chez Jacqueline. I thought I'd get that out of the way at the beginning. If you're looking for authentic French food, wonderful service and excellent value, look no further. My husband is French. We met and lived together in France so we chose a French restaurant for our first anniversary living in New York. I had the foie gras... More

For the price of two entrees, the groupon gave us a 3 course meal WITH a bottle of wine and a nice view of the West Village scene from our table by an open window. The food isn't the greatest, but it is nice and well prepared. The service is great.

What a cozy, little bistro in the heart of the west Village! We used a Groupon for a wonderful three course dinner off the menu including a $39 bottle of wine (the Bordeaux was quite good). The waiter explained that with the Groupon the price of any wine over $39 would only be reduced by 50%. The same was true... More

A nice small French restaurant in the village, the food is traditional French but with a twist, my scargos had tomato, my stakefrite had a terrific thick stake with souse on the side. Very intimate, service is okay but they forgot my vegs. I would not get out of my way to go there again but if in the area... More

I must admit I'm a sucker for French bistros and so I loved this little gem in the West Village. Very casual yet intimate. We both had steaks but different cuts and both were good. Excellent French fries! I also enjoyed my appetizer of chicken livers and green beans. Only negative was they forgot our side order of green beans.... More

I recently bought a Groupon for this restaurant because it was a great deal and my best friend and I love french food. The place is small but the food was delicious.

We purchased this meal for two via a Groupon deal after we met a NYC couple who recommended it The place has a great atmosphere and the food was good, not excellent. The waiter was attentive and good with the typical French approach you kind of expect - knowledgeable but .... We paid the discount price of $69 for two... More

I can't wait to come back to NYC just to eat at this place again. Small, cozy, intimate decor. The piano player is absolutely lovely. Wine is great and food is fantastic!!! I off course, had the steak and fries (if you read my other reviews you will know how obsessed I am with good meat)

What a wonderful surprise this restaurant had great atmosphere and excellent food at a bargain rate. Using Groupon for about $69 per couple we had three-course meals and upgraded our wine and it was still a bargain. We dined with friends early pre-theater. Muscles were sweet and wonderful, steak was perfectly cooked and excellent, gazpacho delicious. Onion soup delicious. And... More
