This place and their deserts live up to all the hype. They have a huge selection of cakes and baked items to pick from, plus gelato, but you go for one thing really..the cannolis. Easily the best cannolis I have ever had - the shell was nice and crunchy and the filling smooth and creamy with just the right amount... More

I'm not a dessert person but I have tried many types of cannolis and desserts over the years living in this city. We came here after having dinner somewhere else. This is not only a dessert place but they serve food as well. Very touristic! It would be one of the places I would try when I'm new to NY.... More

I am from Spain, I´m a great fan of Canolli.I have tried canolis everywhere I travel. I have tried the canollis of this cafe shop. It is delicious. They are much better than Carlo's Bake Shop. Without so much publicity, give more quality.

Juan, thank you for taking the time to write us a review! We're glad you enjoyed our cannoli, despite not being a fan of cannoli in the first place. We hope you'll have the chance to visit again and try some more of our desserts! More

It really was the best in the world! The shell was so crisp and the filling. Also having a good beer to wash it down with. My wife got an eclair and said how fresh that was as well. Server was very friendly and we will be back whenever we return!

We always go to Caffe Palermo after the theater when we visit NYC. It's an authentic New York Italian experience that just happens to have the BEST cannoli anywhere. The shell is crisp and crunchy and the filling is so tasty. There is usually a short line because people love this place, but it moves fast and they are always... More

Was in NYC over Labor Day for the US Tennis Open and was checking Facebook while eating in Chinatown (not worth a review here). A friend in Texas saw where we were and said we MUST get cannoli for dessert as Little Italy was only a short walk away. We were not hungry at that point, but she said we... More

We went through Little Italy and tried cannoli at almost all the bakeries and this place did have the best cannoli out of all the places we tried. It was nice to actually get a New York Italian experience with talking to and having a conversation with the actual owner who was walking around talking to the customers. It was... More

Is an italian caffe. Normal and overpriced. The cannolis good. If you like good to "traditional italian cafe" IS YOUR OPTIONS. Many people wait to buy cakes and cannolis. The caffe is normal and not italian traditional. Overpriced. Food good. Capuccino good. If you know italian cuisine this place is normal. If is your firsts times... GO !

The crowd here was unbelievable. We could hardly get the door open. However, we were able to get a seat in about 5 minutes. Best cannoli everyone at our table had ever had.

Came for dessert and was not disappointed. We had the almond sugar cone filled with cannoli filing and it was both different and very tasty. The cone had a slightly sticky feel to it, but the taste was very different and was well worth a try. Also had the chocolate chip gelato and it was also quite good. Definitely if... More

Staying in Little Italy

Neighbourhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
