Out of all the restaurants in Little Italy we went to Ca Sa Bella because it had history. Unfortunately the present leaves a bad taste in your mouth. The head waiter from the very beginning of our visit was uninviting, unfriendly and barely spoke a word to us apart from "are you ready to order food?" No famous Italian hospitality,... More

I tried the lasagna followed by tiara masu. Both were as good, if not better, than any that I had while visiting Italy. Wait staff is friendly and willing to make suggestions. Highly recommend stopping here if you are in Little Italy.

Very tasty food, adequate service from snooty waiters. We were here for a late night dinner, but we wanted something light, with not a lot of alcohol. They sniffed when I ordered only a salad for dinner. Then protested when we ordered just a half bottle of wine for the two of us. Sigh. However the flambeed veal with a... More

I had an amazing lunch in 'Little Italy' in NYC. Freshly made in-house pasta for all their dishes. Fantastic selection of wines. The patio is amazing for people watching as it is located right where 'Little Italy' and 'China Town' transition. They have their regular menu as well as a lunch special that includes your of entree, main, and desert.... More

This is one of our favorite al fresco dining experiences in Little Italy. Its got a comfortable family feel with excellent food. We come back over and over again. Their veal chop is amazing.

Real Italian food in a nice setting. The menu is pricey but it's no more than the other nice restaurants in Little Italy. The service was good and the food was excellent, especially the gelato for dessert.

The atmosphere was ok and the food fine. The problem was when the bill came we paid and I gave the waiter $10 tip. There was a lot of "say we are good on trip adviser" When I looked at the bill later the waiter in question had added $18 to the bill .No mention of that while they are flattering your... Loved visiting little Italy in New York. Great Italian food, and excellent service and we finally found a decent cup of coffee here, it's no campos coffee like home but the best we found in New York. Definitely will recommend you check it out.

Staying in Little Italy

Neighbourhood Profile
Little Italy
While Little Italy is one of the city's smallest neighbourhoods, its streets are packed with visitors from around the globe, especially on summer weekends when the streets are closed to traffic. Stroll up Mulberry Street, the heart of Little Italy, for a dense mix of Italian restaurants with sidewalk tables, cafes, and old-school food shops. Don’t be surprised when the hosts beckon you to pay them a visit. Stop in for a coffee and a cannoli, or grab a streetside table to take in the scenery over a hearty Italian meal.
