i would say that their soju is quite expensive for $16/bottle. i guess it's because it's imported. but the food is so great and price is reasonable! grilled chicken gizzard and a rice bowl or seaweed rice balls is a must! i regret i haven't tried the deep fried chicken gizzard!

Wonderfully active second floor window- walled restaurant. Food and service fresh and forthcoming. Pancakes, Octopus, Salads, and Daily Specials cooked with amazing flavors. Highly Recommend!

Went here on a Saturday night. Got crowded as the night went on. Located on 2nd floor entrance on 5th ave. They take AMEX or cash only. Very spacious and can accommodate large groups. Got the frozen beer which was really good. Had pigs feet, fried chicken, seaweed rice, ribs, a couple other dishes and lemon soju. Try them all,... More

My wife and I took a stroll through Korea Town to check out some shops and the overall action. We had dinner earlier in the night and were thinking about grabbing a drink before walking back to our hotel. We literally dropped by for 'Round 2' after passing the 2nd floor establishment from the street. Great trendy Seoul meets Manhattan... More

Love the atmosphere here. It's definitely authentic and you are surrounded by cool Korean young people. We had the milky alcohol but the best by far was the coconut soju. The chicken soup was wholesome and hit the spot. Food was great, especially the hot pot but the intestines were in big chunks so quite intimidating. Love the decor too.... More

DRINKS: Japanese draft beer was nice. and also frozen beer foam topping. VERY EXPENSIVE soju drinks. They were good though. Had the cucumber Soju (16 oz or so) that was like $25 or $29. Smaller coconut soju was like $16 SERVICE: OK. DECOR/ATMOSPHERE: Excellent. Loved the high ceiling and wooden tables. Overwhelmingly Asian clientele (including myself). I only saw 1... More

Food here is delicious. First time trying this place and I already want to comeback. Every Korean restaurant that I visit, always order the seafood pancake, here is so well done and I like that they served the pancake on a hot place over a small flame while on the table, so you can take your time and eat it... Soju Haus is not quite like your typical Korean lounge, nor like your typical Korean restaurants. It's more of an in-between, a busy, high traffic, almost trendy? Korean restaurant that specializes in soju and other Korean alcoholic beverages. Aside from being constantly packed, the food and drinks are quite food, but more on the expensive side of things. Service is... More

This place has a very cool vibe. There is a bar and food menu. Lots of Korean dishes. And of course Soju! This place stays busy even into the late night!

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
