The chicken wings were just ok, the french onion soup was great with extra cheese. The hamburgers are dry and the salads are ok

Service was subpar. Waiters were inattentative. It seemed like they were more interested in watching the soccer game on t.v. than serve the guests. I guess they don't need to work that hard to earn tips considering a relatively high automatic gratuity is included on the bill. Food was ok except for the lettuce with brown edges and a couple... We had a wonderful experience at Roxy's! We all ordered a different dessert and all 6 were delicious! The NY cheesecake with cherries was my favorite, but the red velvet cheesecake was very good, too. The coffee at Roxy's is also good; it is served at a nice temperature and was a nice balance - not weak, but not bitter.... More

We walked in and found a booth that could seat 6 immediately because there were only three others in the entire diner. We needed to use the restroom before ordering and was ushered upstairs. Just looking at the steps and the dirt ground into the carpet was alarming. Further inspection showed a disgustingly dirty place. The second floor had a... More

Poor service. Waited over 1/2 hour for a simple breakfast. Once it did arrive order was not right. Husband got served sausages instead of bacon. Rather than wait any longer didn't raise this. Food was average but not worth the wait

I used to go to the Roxy for breakfast when it was located in Times Square. I found it by chance in their new location in 8th Ave and 44th St. I even say hello to one of the old waitres. The food is good as well as the service. Nothing fancy but following tradition.

Went as so close to the Phantom Theatre. The Waitresses were very friendly but suffered from relying on their imperfect memory rather than their pads. Food very poor & overpriced. Doubt we would return even if we come back to NY.

Dined after attending Broadway show. Roast beef was poor quality, very tough. Spouse got ill from eating turkey sandwich (cheese.). Good dessert, nice server. But food below average.

If you don't know any better you might think this is a real New York restaurant for New Yorkers. You'd be wrong. The food is average and greatly overpriced

I get that your a captive when you have a little time before a show, but the prices for a BLT you can get elsewhere are double... I had a greek salad for $14.. the BLT with fries was $14... and it really needs an upgrade.. and a good swiffer.

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
