There were four of us for lunch, so we started with some table apps: the flash fried cauliflower with tahini, an order of taramousalata with za'atar bread, and the grilled octopus. The cauliflower is a must-order... I opted for the Greek salad- I've had it several times before, and it's fresh and fantastic, though I believe they switched out the... More

We had reservations for 8 at 8:30pm on a Saturday. We were seated a few minutes late which wasn't an issue, but we were given a 6 top table, with a "kiddies table" added to the end with 3 chairs. The table and chairs were lower than the 6-top making it feel awkward. We asked to just squeeze into the... More

The place can get very full and very noisy what with its Middle Eastern influenced brunch menu (got to try the speciality eggs) in addition to all things brunch. It is a large restaurant so can seat a lot of people. The service is fast and unobtrusive but everyone is working at such a harried pace that it feels rather... More

First time visiting this restaurant last night. Firstly, at the bar I was told to wait whilst the bartender served 2 people before me. Secondly, the dish the lamb was in was so hot it scorched my arm. So over cooked it was tough and flavorless. Told the waiter who told the manager who did nothing about it. Not even... More

We went here at the last minute, with no reservation. We had to sit at a table in the bar, but the service and the food were still really good. It's nice to see when you haven't been to a restaurant in a while that its' standards haven't slipped.

If you like middle eastern fare, and would like a slightly upscale venue for a tasty meal with friends, check this place out. The food is diverse and very tasty, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is very lively and social.

This restaurant is beautiful. It is a mix between a Moroccan and Greek feel. The food was very tasty. Loved it would definitely come back. Get the falafel!! So good.

I've been here many many times through the years and today was the worst. The food was good and the service was not up to par. Had a reservation today at 1:15pm for 4 people. The place was crowded as usual for Sunday brunch. We were seated by Server 203 Bryant T @ Table 5/1. Things started off well, we... More

Wonderful food - some of the best brunch food I've had in a very long time. Absolutely delicious appetizers too. Relaxed setting in a vaguely exotic way, put on your long dangling earrings.

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighbourhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets- much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighbourhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being the home of a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
