this place is super upscale, the food is very refined and the price is all the way up there! we came during restaurant week and it was a great time. their menu is a bliss from beginning to end, and the service is sharp and fancy. the wine crisp and the main course a dream come true.

Went for dinner with my husband just after Christmas. The food was average and the service poor. My wine glass stood empty for at least 15 minutes, scallops were crusty from being over cooked. My water glass was dirty and the petit fours served after dinner had obviously been taken from another table and passed directly on to us, there... More

Always a beautiful and stylish experience. You might be a tourist but the staff treat you like long standing customers - never disappointed! Desserts are to Die for and worth the extra mile on the treadmill!

Three us visited Le Cirque for lunch today and the experience was wonderful. The food was great primarily because the preparation was so very original. After we each had an extremely unique appetizer, we all had Red Snapper, which was very good. The service was absolutely impeccable with our personal Maitre'd waiting to help in any way he could. Prices... More

My early dinner at Le Cirque was very enjoyable, albeit not because of the food. The service was excellent. The decor and general ambiance is welcoming. They also have an excellent wine selection; any red from Alsace is usually a sure bet. The food however was uneventful. I would not mind returning if only for a visit of fries and... More

With all of the amazing restaurants in NYC, I would say to skip this one. We had 6 in our group and all had multiple courses. Everything was good but underwhelming. Cost aside, there are just too many other places you can go when in the city.

The place wants to be high end but falls short and feels a bit pretentious. The food is ok, but not outstanding. There are so many better options for upscale dining. So no major complaints: service was ok, food was ok. But this is not a top place.

LeCirque is, without question one of the top five restaurants in New York. From the moment you arrive the staff is "customer service centric", helpful and informative. Dining at LeCirque is not necessarily for the faint of wallet when the check arrives but you leave with a clear understanding of both food quality, presentation and customer service. Any other dining... More

Fine dining in a beautiful atmosphere. The service here is completely outstanding. The dining room is quite lovely. I started off with the caesar salad. It is not like any other caesar salad I have ever had. I would call it de-constructed. For an entree I order Saint Jacque, a scallop dish that sounded marvelous. While it was quite tasty,... More

The atmosphere is sophisticated, very much like a five stars hotel restaurant. Well served but portions of food are totally incompatible with anyone who goes there to eat. So small that makes food tasting almost impossible … Heyyy manager … we go to yr restaurant to eat. We pay for this option. It is NOT a favor … Please live... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighbourhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
